Born and raised in Ridgewood, NJ, I grew up shooting hoops in the back yard and dreamt of being a college basketball star like Larry Bird. I ended up playing basketball at the George Washington University and, while I was not the next Larry Bird, I was tri-captain of the first GW team to ever play in the NIT. 

 

After my playing career ended I coached basketball at the college and high school level, hoping to be the next John Wooden. That obviously didn't happen, so I embarked on a sports broadcasting career. I have worked for a number of networks, including CBS, OLN, Versus, Universal Sports, Pac12 Network, ESPN, and others.

 

The Blue Team is my first novel. Many readers have asked if there will be a sequel for The Blue Team, to which I respond, “I’m working on it.”
