Chapter 185: - The Baron of Slumdon
The camera capturing the moment showed Broken and Princess Alora exchanging glances, igniting a flurry of intense reactions across the internet.
"This fool, Broken, actually has the audacity to flirt with Princess Alora at a time like this!"
"Just look at the way he's staring at Princess Alora. I can barely contain my rage!"
"I wish I could be in Broken's place, standing so close to the beauty of Princess Alora."
"I'm so envious of this guy. He's gotten to see Princess Alora up close."
"I'm sure he's used up his entire lifetime's fortune. After this, he'll be plagued by bad luck until the day he dies."
"Is it possible that Broken is the luckiest player in Immortal Legacy?"
"Broken has truly struck it rich in an instant! The rewards he's getting are incredible."
"Damn, I wish I had that kind of luck too. Is it possible to get rich from a game?"
"Princess Alora... I Love You!"
Meanwhile, on the stage, King Alorik continued his address.
"Broken, you have achieved great success in the competition. Your victory is a true testament to your hard work and dedication. As the King of the Dissidia Kingdom, I can think of no better way to celebrate your success than to grant you a land of your own, Slumdon Town, and to make you its lord."
Broken was overwhelmed with emotion. He had never expected such an incredible reward. A land? A lord?! Could this mean he would have the opportunity to engage in city-building? The possibilities raced through his mind. Struggling to contain his excitement, he bowed his head in deep respect.
"Your Majesty," he said, his voice shaking with emotion. "This is far more than I could have ever hoped for. I am deeply grateful for your generosity."
The King smiled and continued, "Your success in the competition has been so extraordinary that I feel compelled to bestow upon you the title of Baron. You are now Baron of Slumdon, and the entire kingdom is proud of you."
The entire area erupted in a mixture of cheers, shock, jealousy, and applause at the King's proclamation.
[Congratulations to Broken, the Baron of Slumdon! You have achieved the remarkable feat of becoming the first player to become the lord of your own land in the Dissidia Kingdom - an impressive accomplishment worthy of a new title - The All-Conquering Lord of Slumdon! May your reign be long and prosperous.]
[Upon receiving this achievement, you are granted access to the Land Management feature. This will enable you to effectively manage the land that you already own. Congratulations! You are well on your way to becoming a kingdom builder, and for now, you are able to begin your own town-building journey.]
"Nice conclusion, Mr. Detective," Elincia said, turning her attention back to the stage.

Marco, the CEO of the Golden Age Company, sighed as he reviewed the final results of the grand competition in the Dissidia Kingdom.
"I've never seen a player receive this many rewards at once, except for him," he remarked with a relaxed smile.
Several key figures from the company sat around a room with a large screen displaying the
results.
One of them commented, "He even earned more than my monthly salary."
"But your share in the stocks is still larger, hahaha... Let's just be happy about the remarkable achievement this player has achieved."
Another chimed in, "Will this player be able to utilize all the features he's been granted effectively? I mean, considering his background and the town management aspect, I doubt it
will end well."
"But he is close to the Ass Guild, right? I'm sure he can leverage his connections with them to build the town properly. This could also be a great opportunity to showcase more of the game's features. More players will strive to own land themselves."
"I'm not sure the Ass Guild will have time for town building. They're busy preparing to counter the opposing faction that doesn't want Alora to ascend the throne."
Their conversation revolved around whether Broken would be able to make full use of the land management feature he had just unlocked. This was the first time a player had access to
such a feature.
One of them reasserted, "You all know that Broken achieved all of this in a very short time. Is the game still balanced when a player like him has access to such significant advantages? I mean, his blessings, his two legendary weapons, and now the land itself. What will other top
players think?"
Marco stood and faced the others. "Whether Broken will survive or not depends on his decisions and future actions. But one thing I'm certain of is that the game will no longer
remain the same with his presence."
"Should we hold him back a bit?"
Marco quickly responded, "The question is, could we? The answer is no! We don't have the capability to do that!"
