Chapter 151: - From School to Shopping
Lily was a young girl with shoulder-length blonde hair. Walking beside her was Hazel, a girl with wavy brown hair that flowed beautifully around her face. Hazel was Lily's classmate at her new school.
Hazel was quite popular, not just because she appeared in commercials but also because of her looks, which many boys at school admired. Due to their shared class, Hazel and Lily had become close.
Hazel's lively and often exaggerated personality balanced perfectly with Lily's friendly and approachable nature, making them an ideal pair of friends. As they walked from their classroom towards the parking area, they couldn't help but attract the attention of their male classmates, who were drawn to their beauty.
This newfound attention was especially significant for Lily, who now carried herself with more confidence than she ever did in her previous environment. Despite her simple appearance and mannerisms, Lily's inherent beauty had its own unique charm that captivated
their male classmates.
"Lily, you said your brother is joining us for dinner. Are you serious?" Hazel asked excitedly.
Lily sighed, not paying much attention to her friend's words. "Why are you so excited about Leon? He's not interested in girls or romantic relationships, so you might as well forget whatever you're thinking," she said.
"Oh, come on, Lily. I saw your brother's action in Immortal Legacy, and I think he's quite cute. Didn't you say he's single?" Hazel replied with a giggle.
Lily turned to Hazel, making her friend pause. "Hazel, you can't be serious. He is much older than you."
"Oh, a gap of four or five years isn't a big deal, right? Plus, I'm sure your brother is going to be famous. So I don't see any harm in getting close to him," Hazel said, giggling again as she nudged Lily in the side.
The two girls made their way to the parking area just as a car pulled up, and the door opened to reveal Leon stepping out with his blonde hair catching the sunlight. He turned to Hazel, a slightly puzzled expression on his face as he looked at his sister's new friend.
"Hi," Hazel greeted cheerfully, waving her hand and stepping forward to shake hands. "My name is Hazel," she introduced herself before pulling Lily closer. "I'm a good friend of your sister-she's so cute, friendly, and kind-hearted. I wanted to be her friend to make sure her kindness isn't taken advantage of," she added with a giggle.
"Hi, thanks for looking out for her. I'm Leon," he replied.
"Yes, I knew it! Lily often talks about you and brags about her amazing brother," her words trailing off as Lily quickly nudged her to stop.
Lily then turned to Leon. "Leon, I'm going to hang out and have dinner with Hazel. Would you prefer to head home first?"
"No, invite him," Hazel interjected. "You don't mind joining us, do you?"
Leon looked at them both, slightly confused. "Are you sure I won't interrupt your conversation?"
"No, not at all. I'd love to hear more about Immortal Legacy from you," Hazel replied, giving Leon a warm smile.
Hazel and Lily climbed into the car, making it a point to have Lily sit in the back seat and position herself in the middle. Leon followed suit, taking a seat next to Hazel.
The car then began to move.
"Leon, are you serious?" Lily asked, emphasizing the point.
"Yes, Lily. Buy everything you want. I assure you, I have more than enough money for it," he
confirmed.
Although still hesitant, Lily allowed herself to be pulled away by Hazel, who quickly began choosing more outfits for her. Hazel's enthusiasm and guidance helped to ease some of Lily's reservations, turning their shopping trip into a fun and enjoyable experience.
Sometime later, Hazel approached Leon carrying a gray hat with a blacksmith class emblem on it. It was an official hat of Immortal Legacy.
"Leon, excuse me for a moment," she said.
She then placed the hat on his head and gently turned his arm so he could see himself in a
nearby mirror.
"What do you think?" she asked.
Leon looked at his reflection and seemed to like the hat. "Blacksmith is my class. I like the
hat," he responded.
Hazel smiled, took the hat off him, and walked away.
A few hours later, they returned to the car, and Hazel had already been picked up by her
family's driver.
"That hat," Lily said, "Hazel bought it for you."
"Huh? Really?" Leon checked the hat and realized it wasn't on the receipt. "I guess I should
thank her. Give me her phone number."
"No, I don't think that's necessary," Lily giggled. "That's just your excuse to get closer to her, isn't it, Leon? So, do you like teenage girls like that? She's underage..."
Leon paused and turned to Lily, making her curious.
"What?"
"She'll be an adult in a few months, so I guess that wouldn't be a problem, right?" he joked.
Lily nudged him in the side. "Freya is okay, but Hazel is a big no!" she said a bit sternly.
