Bai Meiyue arrived in the countryside and parked her car at an inconspicuous spot. As the sun was still up, she didn't step out of the car and simply peered at the warehouse that looked abandoned and not in use.

If someone who was not aware of what went on inside that building saw it, they would think that this warehouse was just a useless shack and held no importance.

But Bai Meiyue knew that it wasn't the case. When she was kidnapped and thrown in the small basement by Lu Ling, she had heard him talking with someone named Mister John from country B.

Back then, Lu Ling was quite a powerful force and was no longer as cautious as he was at present. Thus, he boldly and quite eagerly discussed the matter of selling weapons and buying grains with Mister John.

It was during these conversations that Bai Meiyue found out that Lu Ling actually had the plan to betray the country. Before the apocalypse started, this man actually started to buy weapons from the black market and illegal channels and started to sell them.

Because he was eager to earn money, Lu Ling actually bought a lot of weapons. Thus, when the apocalypse broke out, these weapons became his life-saving grace and he was able to survive until he awakened.

Back then, when Bai Meiyue found this information, she desperately wished she had paid more attention to Lu Ling. If she had, then she wouldn't have been disgraced like that.

Now it was good; she was back and this pot of luck was going to become hers!

Bai Meiyue curled her lips in a sneer before closing her eyes and taking a nap. While taking revenge was important, she also needed to be careful with her health. If she was too careless, then the one who would suffer would be her little Cai Cai.

Minutes turned into hours and when Bai Meiyue opened her eyes, she heard the sound of vehicles coming to a stop with a bunch of men discussing and quarrelling with one another.

She yawned and rubbed her hands over her face to wake up completely.

"I have told you many times to not turn the headlights on!" Lu Ling, who was sitting in front of the truck, scolded the driver. "What will you do if the villagers notice something amiss?"

Once the man was gone, Bai Meiyue stepped out of the car and strapped the invisibility talisman on her clothes. She then rushed towards the warehouse and slid inside through a window while ignoring the guards who were guarding the warehouse.

As she stepped inside the warehouse, Bai Meiyue heaved a sigh of relief and first took care of the surveillance cameras that were hidden inside.

Only then did she start piling the boxes of weapons inside the space ring. The warehouse that was originally filled slowly turned empty as Bai Meiyue didn't even leave a single bullet inside.

"Do you hear something?" The guard outside questioned his colleague. He had a feeling that he heard some scratching noises.

"Hmm? No, I didn't," replied the other guard and when he saw his partner frown, he patted him on the shoulder and advised him, "Don't think too much. Look around; we are so close to the forest—hearing some weird noises is not abnormal."

What he said made sense; thus, the other guard stopped worrying and started patrolling the area.

Bai Meiyue, who was done cleaning the warehouse, patted her chest as she ran back to her car. Just now she thought she was done for; if those guards had peeked inside, then even if she was invisible, she would have been caught, as her car was parked right here!

Maybe the next time she meets with that woman, she will ask for a teleportation talisman as well. If she was not careful, things could go south for her almost immediately.

Of course, killing was an option but Bai Meiyue hadn't stooped down to the point where she would kill innocent people. Those guards were only doing their job and hadn't crossed her; thus, she had no intention of killing them.

The next night, Lu Ling came to the warehouse with one of his clients.

"You will be really satisfied with this batch of goods, Mister Clynton," Lu Ling spoke in a flattering voice. "I have brought the latest rifles, and ..." As he spoke, he opened the doors of the warehouse and pushed them open.

However, as soon as he pushed the doors, what greeted him were empty walls and a clean floor. The boxes of weapons had long disappeared.
