Netori: Stealing The Hero's Party!

Chapter 468 While Her Chosen Awakens

Chapter 468 While Her Chosen Awakens

Left in a state of unrest inside her prison, Athenia didn't know what to expect to happen next. Now aware of the presence inside of Choux and the soon-to-be-revealed secret of Amedith's parentage, was bound to bring a flood–one that could once again wash away the faith the party had in her.

"Maybe it's time to tell the truth, after all?" Whispered her clone standing right beside her.

"What are you talking about?" Turning around to face the goddess and her clone, Cassiopeia glanced between the two, all the while Athenia was far too busy trying to see through the possible futures.

As present in the present, the past and the future, the goddess of mockery wanted the best possible outcome to be drawn from the sticky situation. Thus, looking far into the future and following the many branches of possibility, she stumbled on a few answers but the only one that stuck out to her was exactly what her clone had suggested.

"You might be right," opening her eyes, Athenia glanced sideways at her clone before heaving a defeated sigh. "It's no use trying to shield them from distractions if the secret behind their parentage becomes a secret, and in turn, a distraction of its own."

"What are you two talking abou–" Casseopea's words came to a sudden halt as the spirit of Elana channeled through her. Fluttering before her inside the fairy, Elanaria let her presence be known before lifting the fairy's head and glaring angrily into Athenia's eyes. "How many times are you going to mess with the mortal world? First, it was the gifts, then your constant meddling and now a divine part of your body?"

Recognizing who exactly it was who was speaking to her, Athenia leaned forward to get closer to the fairy's body.

"I did what I felt was for the best."

'That girl's still in the jewel, Mino's bound to tell someone about the book, Erika seems to have forgotten about the damn thing, and Asmodia looks like she's looking forward to the chaos that will soon ensue.'

Gathering as much information as she could as quickly as she could, Athena knew exactly what would happen once Amedith and Raven clashed after the truths were revealed.

And to make matters more confusing, Linkle who's barely survived the shipwreck was just about to teleport inside the inn with Seraphim, Riyanzah and the charred body of their brother. The man was dead but the other two siblings were just as dazed as they were before–however, thanks to the seal that stretched throughout the island, their magic was sealed and thus it was time for Raven to either kill or claim them for himself.

But that would come later, as for now, Athenia turned her attention to Mino and the book that she'd been hiding underneath one of the Inn's beds. The very room the bed was situated in was currently being occupied by Amedith and Liliyana–something fate itself might've had planned.

'This is gonna get ugly.'

At this point in time, even the goddess couldn't help but wonder...

'What kind of curses are on these islands? Nothing seems to go right on these damned things!'

Much like Raven, she amongst many other people wanted off the damned place as soon as possible.
