"Nice," Arthur muttered, before checking out the new talent effects he had received.
[New Talent Effect!]
SSS-Rank Talent: Primordial Summoner
Talent Effect #1: You are able to summon primordial beasts once every 2 months. Additionally, you can summon normal beasts at will, though these beasts are random. Your summoned beasts level up with you.
Talent Effect #2: You are able to 'extract' one talent/Skill from your beast, and keep it as your own.
Talent Effect #3: You are able to summon any beast you have killed as your own summon.
Talent Effect #4: Talent Effect #1 Cooldown reduced to 1 month. Stay tuned for updates on My Virtual Library Empire
Talent Effect #5: Grants the ability to communicate with all summoned beasts, allowing you to hear their thoughts. Summoned beasts are compelled to follow your commands, regardless of their will.
Talent Effect #6: Your Summoner's storage has been increased by 100% (Level up to unlock)
Talent Effect #7: *%"$& (Level up to unlock)
NOTE: The amount of summons = Level X 2 (Lvl.15 = 30 summons)
Arthur's breath hitched. His eyes widened, as he read the new talent effect.
'This changes everything...'@@@@
Until now, he had been cautious—painfully selective with his summons.
Every creature he summoned had to be worth the slot, worth the time. He only called upon monsters he knew could tip the scales—Epic-Grade or higher.
There was no room for weakness. No room for error.
But now?
Arthur had arguably summoned the worst beast possible, not only was the beetle a normal monster that all players could hunt effortlessly, it had nothing good about it, not even a good skill.
The beetle, oblivious to its summoner's disappointment, scuttled in a small circle.
'Useless.'
Arthur shook his head. He didn't have time to waste on weak summons—not when he had bigger goals.
But then—
Arthur's eyes flickered with a thought.
'Might as well check its evolution path...'
With a flick of his fingers, he activated his SSS-Ranked Talent: Evolution Pathway.
[Evolution Pathway (SSS-Rank)]
Talent Effect #1: Grants the ability to discern and analyze the full evolution pathway of all summoned entities. This includes the capability to select and set a desired evolution pathway for each summon while simultaneously providing a detailed breakdown of the specific requirements needed to achieve the chosen evolution.
His vision blurred momentarily as the system processed the beetle's potential future.
And then, the text appeared.
—
Focus: Before specialising in a certain field, the beetle must first reach epic grade. The requirements below, are to evolve the beetle to become Pseudo-Elite Grade
Requirements:
- Kill 10 beetles (0/10)
- Refine the essence of armour (0/10)
—
Arthur's eyebrows rose slightly.
"Hmm... That's not bad," he murmured. "Plenty of beetles back in the village."
"It's level 15, much stronger than the beetles in the village. It should be easy enough to evolve to at least Elite-Grade Boss.'
He straightened up, the gears already turning in his head.
This beetle wasn't a powerhouse—not yet. But with the right push, even the smallest spark could ignite into something formidable.
'An Elite beetle could be interesting... especially once it starts specializing.'
Without wasting another moment, Arthur activated his Village Protector Insignia. A soft glow enveloped him, and the familiar sensation of teleportation washed over him.
Arthur reappeared back inside the forest, the beetle beside him. Its tiny legs twitched, adjusting to the new surroundings.
Arthur knelt, locking eyes with his new summon. "Alright, little guy. You've got work to do."
Through their telepathic link, Arthur issued a simple but firm command:
'Hunt every beetle you find. Kill one hundred of them. Refine their armor essence.'
The beetle clicked its mandibles in acknowledgement, then scurried off into the underbrush, its mission clear.
Arthur smirked, watching it disappear into the shadows. "A hundred should be enough for now... and if you need more, I'll know."
He straightened, stretching his arms as he prepared for his next move. His summons were growing.
