Chapter 175: Mabel’s Disappointment
Chapter 175: Mabel’s Disappointment
"So Cain is the problem here and not his brother, Seth, correct?" Lord Aurelius asked Celeste who brought up the matter.
Celeste shook her head, she raised her hands and a screen appeared displaying the fight between the two brothers, "while Seth is the good brother and can keep himself in check, he is without a doubt a ticking time bomb" she said as the screen switched to when Seth was pummelling Cain to the ground with no control of himself, "he can become another Cain if his weakness is exploited so it is better to put them out for good before they become something we cannot fathom"
The members of the council exchanged concerned glances as they watched the footage of Seth losing control and unleashing his primal fury upon Cain. It was clear that even the "good" brother possessed a dangerous potential that could pose a threat if left unchecked.
Lord Aurelius furrowed his brow, deep in thought as he considered Celeste’s words. "You make a compelling argument, Celeste," he conceded, his voice grave. "It seems that both Cain and Seth are liabilities to the stability of the mortal realm. We cannot afford to allow either of them to continue wreaking havoc unchecked."
The other council members nodded in agreement, their expressions reflecting a mixture of determination and concern. They knew that the situation was dire and that decisive action would be necessary to safeguard their realm.
"We must devise a plan to neutralize both Cain and Seth," Lord Aurelius declared, his tone resolute. "We cannot allow them to threaten the peace and security of our realm any longer."
With that, the council members set to work, pooling their knowledge and resources to formulate a strategy to confront the two brothers. They knew that their task would not look easy, but they were determined to do whatever it took to protect their realm from the looming threat posed by Cain and Seth.
As they delved deeper into their planning, Celeste remained vigilant, her mind focused on the task at hand. She knew that the fate of the mortal realm hung in the balance, and she was prepared to do whatever it took to ensure its survival.

He has just gotten what he wanted from Mabel which was the name of Celeste and where he could find her.
"So you are telling me, beings with wings came to our world and had sex with our women and had children of their own?"
"Yes, and they are also responsible for the city of wonders, they trained our warlocks and witches on the mysteries of the universe allowing them to tap into the very force that breaths life into the world and achieve feats that were not possible, they did a lot of things that even I can’t count" said Mabel who just sat by the corner spilling everything she knew about the celestial council.
As Mabel spoke, her voice trembled with a mixture of awe and fear, her eyes darting nervously around the room. She knew that revealing such sensitive information about the celestial council was a risky endeavor, but she also understood the gravity of the situation at hand.
Without saying a word, Cain vanished from there into the shadows as he went to look for Celeste and get things over with.
Elsewhere
Cain slinked through the dimly lit streets of the city, his movements fluid and silent as he hunted for Celeste, a powerful member of the Celestial Council. He wasn’t driven by notions of justice or heroism; his motivations were entirely self-serving, fueled by a desire for answers and personal gain.
As he navigated the labyrinthine alleyways, Cain’s keen senses honed in on the subtle traces of Celeste’s magical aura. He knew she possessed knowledge that could prove invaluable to him, knowledge that could potentially elevate him to even greater heights of power.
Finally, Cain caught sight of Celeste’s figure ahead, illuminated by the faint glow of a nearby streetlamp. She stood tall and regal, her presence commanding respect and authority.
Without hesitation, Cain approached Celeste, his expression a mask of calculated indifference. "You must be Celeste," he said, his voice laced with a hint of sarcasm.
Celeste regarded him with a cool detachment, her piercing gaze assessing him with a mixture of curiosity and wariness. "And you must be Cain," she replied, her tone neutral.
Cain nodded, a sly smirk playing at the corners of his lips. "I’ve heard you possess knowledge that could be of interest to me."
Celeste’s expression remained unreadable as she considered Cain’s words. "Knowledge is a valuable commodity," she said cryptically. "But it comes at a price."
Cain’s smirk widened into a knowing grin. "I’m willing to pay whatever price is necessary," he replied, his eyes glinting with determination.
"The price is your life," said Celeste who was now the one smirking after Cain frowned.
"And here I thought we could come to an amicable agreement, what a shame," said Cain with fangs and claws out, ready to beat what he seeks from Celeste.
Celeste regarded Cain with a mixture of curiosity and disdain, her piercing gaze seeming to penetrate his very soul. She was a formidable opponent, her mastery of magic unmatched by any mortal or Nephilim.
"You dare to challenge me, Cain?" Celeste’s voice echoed through the chamber, each word carrying the weight of her authority. "You are but a mere dark creature of the night, a pawn in the grand scheme of things."
