Chapter 148: Lilith Meets Adamaltheia

"so this is the place where you held me back from entering"

Nyx and the others paid little heed to Lilith’s discontent as she surveyed the Greco Realm with a critical eye.

"It seems like shit to me," Lilith remarked, her voice dripping with disdain.@@@@

Nyx resisted the urge to roll her eyes at Lilith’s blunt assessment. She understood that Lilith’s bitterness stemmed from being initially denied entry to the realm, only to gain access later under tense circumstances.

Despite Lilith’s caustic comments, Nyx remained focused on the task at hand. With Lilith now present in the divine plane, Nyx knew they would need to proceed cautiously to prevent any further complications.

Lilith’s frustration grew as she searched the Greco Realm fruitlessly for any sign of Lucifer’s presence.

"So where the hell is Lucifer? I don’t see him or sense him here," she demanded of Athena, who remained silent and aloof.

Athena shrugged in response. "I have no idea. I’ve only met him once, and then he vanished. Nobody knew where he went or what he’s up to," she explained impassively.

Lilith furrowed her brow at Athena’s response, deep in thought. "Could there be another realm apart from this?" she mused aloud, turning to Zeus for answers.

Zeus, irritated by Lilith’s persistent questioning, scowled at her. "I have no time for your idle speculation. Lucifer’s whereabouts are of no concern to us," he retorted dismissively.

Adamaltheia was busying tending to her private garden which she just recently grown so that she can distract her from the affairs of the world due to the craziness recently when she sensed a familiar aura approaching the Island of Crete and an unknown aura.

She wondered who could the Fiery Phoenix be bringing to her Island now.

After a few minutes, Feng Huang appeared before her and transformed back into her human form after dropping Lilith. She approached Adamaltheia, who was just looking at her.

"This is Lilith Morningstar, my new master and wife of my previous master" said Feng Huang as she introduced Lilith to the curious Adamaltheia.

"The first wife to be precise, make sure to always include that when next time, I don’t want others to think I’m the last of them lots" Lilith chipped in on the conversation causing Adamaltheia to look in her direction.

Adamaltheia closely observed Lilith, attempting to discern her intentions. However, Lilith remained as enigmatic as Lucifer himself. Despite her apparent weakness, Adamaltheia sensed an underlying power within Lilith. She realized that underestimating Lilith would be a grave mistake.

"Okay I get that but why are you here?" Adamaltheia asked with a frown as she did not get why Feng Huang would bring her here unannounced.

"Simple, I want to rest for the day and this is just the best place and also I heard during the way how, many of this so called false gods are trying to get their hands on your island for themselves but no matter how hard they tried, they always seem to fail, so that makes me wonder what’s so special about this place" said Lilith as she looked at the direction where the tree was planted while smirking at Adamaltheia.

Adamaltheia regarded Lilith with a mixture of curiosity and caution. "This island holds ancient powers, ones that even the mightiest of gods cannot easily wield," she explained. "It is protected by forces beyond mortal comprehension, and those who seek to claim it for themselves are met with fierce resistance." She paused, studying Lilith’s reaction. "But enough about that.

If you seek rest, I can arrange accommodations for you. Follow me." With that, she gestured for Lilith to follow her towards a secluded area of the island where she could find respite.

"By ancient power, you meant Lucifer, correct?" Lilith ask with a smile on her face, "if you want to lie to me, at least make it believable"

With that, Lilith followed Feng Huang who led her to the chamber where she could rest.
