Activities And Future
“Mmh… A cake, perhaps? Or maybe a pie? Mmh…”With the relatively recent additions to the ranks of maids, there were now four Kitchen Maids. This freed Linmin’s schedule a fair bit, but a lot of his time was nonetheless spent cooking. Cuisine was his hobby, after all, and he had seen some progress in spirit cuisine.
He wanted his cooking to be useful to Edrick, but appropriate techniques to enhance the effects of such a discipline were rare, and he hadn’t had the chance to ever see one for now. So he was somewhat learning blind. He only had books of dubious quality to guide him in his endeavours…
Thankfully, he had the means to experiment. Anoteros supported the hobbies of his wives, after all. Linmin even had a whole private kitchen all to himself. Still, he couldn’t help but feel like something was going over his head about this whole thing. It was as though there was a very simple thing that could be done for him to make progress.
He just couldn’t figure it out.
The Foppoof sat down, cradling his chin in his palms, deep in thought…
In another part of the residence, another wife was also engaging with her hobbies.
Hui was deciphering some old glyphs that she had found amidst her pile of dusty documents. This wasn’t an actual translation. These symbols were part of a cypher that had fallen out of favour a long time ago, and whose decrypting method had been lost.
As such, she needed to put in some work and elbow grease to make sense out of whatever this secret message was supposed to be saying. It was made harder, considering that she couldn’t know what language it was even supposed to decrypt into… Hui loved the challenge, however.
Edrick had offered to help her seek out cultivation techniques to boost her intelligence and the like, but the ones she had tried had turned out to be incompatible. Apparently, her way of thinking and processing information wasn’t anywhere near ‘normal’. Of course, she had no idea what that meant. Whatever went on inside her head was normal to her–And she couldn’t read other people’s minds to figure out the difference.
It wasn’t much of an issue overall. She wasn’t a decision-maker inside the residence, so her cultivation being limited to Erotic Cauldron and Resilient Manikin wasn’t problematic. However, it was definitely a shame that she couldn’t readily improve herself and become a better wife for Anoteros. In her eyes, he deserved only the best of the best.
She was eternally grateful that he had entered the Myriad-Arm Sect’s library and decided to Viot her. It was the best thing that had ever happened to her, and she hoped that future wives and maids would get to experience it as she did.
“Can you bring me the magnifying glass?”
She called out to her personal maid. Currently, she was the only wife to have one of those–But that would certainly not remain the case for too long.
The third wife had been given a smart Bloomin girl, and this gal–Despite her youth–Was indeed very articulate and competent. As per usual, Anoteros had shown that he understood what his wives needed better than they themselves did. The Bloomin was perfectly suited to serve Hui.
The maid had a great interest in the same things as Hui, and simply fit right in with the ambience of this study room, crowded with bookshelves and stacks of paper. As if trying to further bend to be a perfect fit for her mistress, she had even begun wearing small glasses, trying to better match Hui.
“Here, Mistress”
“Thanks. You’re such a good girl. What do you say I recommend you to my husband to bear an offspring for him? Do you prefer a human or something else? My dear husband’s seed can create many things”
“I wouldn’t dare to allow myself to bear Master’s seed before you do, Mistress”
“Really a good girl, heh? Alright, I’ll tell him to impregnate you at the same time he gives Yin and me his seed. We’ll form a little trio, and maybe your offspring can be a personal maid to one of ours”
“It would be my honour, Mistress”
Whilst Hui was arranging for her still fresh Bloomin maid, Yin was busy in a training room, performing sit-ups without rest. Even if one were to enter the room right now, they would be able to tell that Yin had been working out for a long while–As even she, with her impressive stamina, was sweating bullets.
Regardless, she was making things look easy with how consistent her motions were. Each sit-up was done in the same manner, and all lasted the same amount of time. It was like working out was in her blood.
Her rock-hard abs were exposed as she only wore the bare minimum in the intimacy of her own home.
…Being the loving husband that he was, Edrick had dedicated a training room for Yin to enjoy all by herself. The number of training rooms inside the residence might seem exaggerated, but they were intended to eventually serve many Guardian and Protector maids, on top of being available to any maid during their free time. They would also obviously be at the disposal of future offspring…
The sheer number of them right now made it hard to notice since they tended to go in groups to the same ones, but all of the maids were very careful to use their day-offs to train and maintain themselves in top condition, so as to serve their master as efficiently as possible in all of their duties.
It sounded odd, but the maids of this residence actually had quite a lot of accommodations, and all benefited from one obligatory day off per week. It was obligatory because otherwise, too many of them would skip on it.
This was a slight downside of having such loyal and subservient followers... They never wanted to not work and serve unless they were pretty much incapable of doing the job for one reason or another.
…Normally, though, they could also take an extra day off as long as they notified in advance. Obviously, if they were to be impregnated by their master, they would be off-duty for most of the pregnancy.
Yin soon lay flat on the ground.
“...One thousand…”
She had been working out nearly non-stop since she woke up in the morning, and it was well into the afternoon at the moment.
The fifth wife’s routine had frankly not changed that much ever since her marriage to Anoteros. She kept on pursuing both physical and cultivation excellence. Her innate talent and focus on defence were her defining factors… As such, only by improving on them could she bring honour to Edrick.
Amongst the wives, she was the only typical combat-based cultivator. The only other notable cultivator of the group was Haoyu, but he was a non-combat specialist.
In terms of image, Yin was the one projecting Edrick’s masculine dominance–Being so strong, yet still submissive to him. She was the one showing that he had what it took to tame a powerful woman.
Thinking about this, she couldn’t help but reach into her lower garment and stimulate herself a little.
“Aah~ Edrick, my love…”
