Chapter 13 - Master's Suite

I sat down the King sized bed loving the scent of vanilla and lavender in the air. This luxurious room only fits the people who belongs to royalty and I'm no royal,I'm just a simple girl in a far little town. But my fate is not simple anymore starting from the day i met him, the Alpha of the wolves. The prince and the future king of all Alphas. And i am his mate, and he will soon turn me into a beast like himself.

I can feel a bitter taste at the tip of my tongue thinking about the meaning of the word b-e-a-s-t.

I walked towards the window to have a look outside at the beautiful view of the airport, the luxury jet is running now and in a few seconds it will fly high above the ground. Taking me into a new place, somewhere I've never been before. Whatever should i do when i get there, only God knows. I closed my eyes as I started feeling the plane rise from the ground, my heart beats heavy and it feels like someone squeezed the inside of my stomach. I hold on to the thick glass of the window and watch the big fluffy cotton like clouds. It lifted a little bit of my heavy feeling..

"I'm glad you're enjoying the view".

A familiar deep voice from behind me spoke which made me turned around to see him. A handsome beast hidden in a God like beauty. He made my human heart flutter a bit. If only he is normal.

"Oh, well i guess I don't really have much of a choice do i? And this is the first time I'm flying inside a luxury plane. It feels like I'm just inside a hotel suite but the only difference is just it's flying".

The tiny spark in his eyes when he heard my words told me he's amused. Then he started walking towards me. I felt the urged to divert my attention from his nerve wracking sexy body getting near me.

"Very well, do you want to eat something? He asked.

"Thanks for asking, I would love to have my favorite penne pasta in a white sauce with some chicken and a little bit of mushroom paired with garlic bread".

That made him stop at the phone attached on the wall of the master's suite. I'm glad he did.

"And for your drink? He managed to asked before picking up the phone with his big- knuckled hand.

"Just water is fine Alpha.. Jack. Thank you".

I swallowed a lump in my throat, i can finally say his name without loathing on the words. It wasn't easy at first. But now we are talking like we're friends, it isn't like we're enemies either. Perhaps just two strangers from a different world with a weird fate.

As he speaks in the phone just ordering my food, because I didn't hear him mentioning a food for himself I slowly walked towards the bed and sat nervously. The room is cold but i am feeling my cheeks getting warm because of him. He's still a hunk of a man and his looks would made every woman vie for his attention.

"The food should arrived in a few minutes, meantime let's talked about you".

"About me?

"Yes Carmela, I'm you're future husband and king I would love to know more about you".

He sat on the other side of the bed across me.

"What do you want to know about me? I'm just a simple human being living in a small town, i turned eighteen a few months ago and i wish my life just stopped right there".

He frowned and his eyes turned a darker shade of brown as he gets the meaning behind the words that i said.

"Stopped? What do you mean?.. Do you really hate being near me, do you despised my kind that much that's why you didn't want to become my mate and my wife?

Well, I am feeling unfortunate for you Carmela. I wish the feeling is mutual but it's not."

"How do you really feel about me Alpha Jack, are you certain about me as you're future w-wife?

"Certain? His loud forced laugh without humor almost rendered me deaf.

"Y-yes".

He suddenly stands up and walks towards me grabbing me by my left shoulder with his warm steely hands. Pulling me up against the hard wall of his chest.

"I admit I wasn't expecting a feeling as good as this and yet so difficult and painful."

He lowered his face and take in a huge breath at the nook of my neck. My reaction was to put my hands up against his chest to push him but he just made it impossible as he hold me closer smashing my breast flat on his hard chest.

"W-What does that mean?

I asked confused, yes i felt the sexual tension between us but i think it's just a normal feeling between a man and a woman. But he spoke as if it's something special to him, like he really feels so much for me and it's almost as if I could put meaning to what he feels.

And I couldn't believe that, how could he possibly love someone he just barely meet? That's just doesn't happen in real life. But maybe it does to them, because they are wolves there not human. They are different.

A soft knock on the door made me released the breath that I realized i am just holding in. He slowly releases me and answered the door.

"Come in!

I felt a little relieved now, that someone interrupted our little argument. The door opened and Wilda walked in gracefully, pushing a cart with what I'm guessing is the food that he just ordered. There was also a bottle of champagne.

Wilda smiled at me, and set up the food on the dining table good for only two people.

"Alpha Jack, is there anything else i can get you with?

"No Wilda, that would be all".

She turned towards me and asked me the same question.

"That's all Wilda, thank you very much I appreciate it".

"You're welcome Luna, you two have a wonderful evening".

She winked and i blushed, there's some meaning into the words that she said. A man and a woman sharing a wonderful evening inside a luxury suite!

After the door is closed Alpha Jack pulled out one chair and asked me.

"Carmela have a sit and enjoy the food".

From the loud voice he had few moments ago, he suddenly turned into some gentle man. But i feel a little hungry, looking at the warm food being serve in front of me.

"Thank you".

I sat on the chair while he grab the bottle of champagne and the two glasses from the tray. He puts them in the table and popped the bottle easily even faster than a famous bartender in town. The bubbles overflow and he quickly grab a white cloth to wipe if off before masterfully pouring it in a tall champagne glass.

I started eating turning my attention towards the food in my plate. It was delicious and i love it. The moments passed with just me eating my food and Alpha Jack looking pre occupied, sitting in front of me with his eyes in the window and the glass of champagne in his hand.

When I finished i wiped my mouth with the table napkin and drink from the glass of water beside my plate.

"The food was delicious.." I casually commented trying to act natural.

He turned his gazed towards me and his eyes looked at my lips. He didn't say a word instead, he brought the champagne glass into his mouth and he drink from it with his eyes still focus at me.

I started feeling a little awkward by the way he looks at myself.

"Are you not feeling hungry, you haven't eaten".

He put down the empty glass from his hand in the table before he answered my question.

"I am not hungry for food, not at all". He murmured in the air that I could almost hint his trying to hold himself out of something that he wanted to say and do.

A shiver ran from the back of my neck into my spine thinking he could be craving blood because he is a wolf. They are beasts who are the worst carnivores at the top of the food chain.

"I hope y-you're not craving for something like h-human b-blood right now".

I stammered feeling a little nervous now. He smirked.

"Mate's don't eat their partners and I'm not a vampire who sucks blood from humans. My family is the leader of the Royal pack, we never drink blood from humans. We are not just an ordinary wolves. We are Royals. The Langstone Clan.

We only hunt animals Carmela, and we are also the law makers of the land. One day you will truly understand that".

I don't know if I should believe him or not but I guess the Alpha doesn't lie, and that is a huge relief.
