Chapter 638: End of the Shinobi World

Seiryū takes out a Wakaturi-type arrowhead, pierced with a Buddhist motto.

He infuses his energy into the arrowhead and points it towards Shutendōji.

'If only I had father's Hama Yumi bow to launch this arrow!' Seiryū sighs in his heart.

'The Hama Yumi bow or the 'evil banishing bow' is the sacred treasure of his father. It's an extremely powerful bow capable of annihilating any evil.'

As soon as Seiryū fires the arrowhead, it vanishes into the void; away from everyone's perception. Even Seiryū, as the user of the arrowhead, is unable to sense its location.

Shutendōji raises an eyebrow as the arrowhead seems familiar. A few seconds pass by with no sight of the arrowhead.

'Did I use a dud?!' Sweat trickles down Seiryū's forehead.

'In that case, should I prepare for escape?'

Just as Seiryu was preparing to escape.

Suddenly, an unsuspecting arrowhead coated in blue energy pierces through the void, right in between Shutendōji's brows.

BOOM...

A powerful burst of energy explodes on impact. The burst of energy leaves a beautiful trail of starlight that depicts the wonders of the cosmos in the void.

For an instant, a nebula of stars illuminates the sky; drowning all evil and even dispelling the light of the Infinite Tsukiyomi.

The roots of the Divine tree retreat to the ground, leaving behind dried husks of small and large bodies.

Even Ibaraki and Black Zetsu are affected by the purifying effect of the arrow.

White smoke rises from Black Zetsu's body and slowly incinerates him. Whereas the blood aura around Ibaraki vanishes and his skin turns red from the heat, making it look like he is being cooked alive at the moment.

'Did it work?' Seiryū wonders.

The power this arrow possesses is several thousand times that of the previous spear Izuna used against Ibaraki. However, instead of the pure destructive power that the spear had; this arrow has a very strong purifying effect.

The purifying power is so strong that it illuminates every corner of the small dimension the Shinobi world is located in. It's the for this reason, Seiryu didn't want to use such a trump card.

A small hope of overturning the situation rises in Seiryū's body.

"Hmm... the power of this Evil Banishing arrow is not bad!"

However, the next second, a calm and collected voice breaks the last straw.

Suddenly, the nebula-like radiance vanishes in thin air to reveal Shutendōji's figure.

Shutendōji is holding an arrowhead between his fingertips with ease. There is no sign of any distress or discomfort on his face.

Snap...

He pinches the arrow with slight force, and it disperses into motes of energy.

"It has been a while since one of these arrows hit me." Shutendōji reminisces.

"The last time it happened was during the great war between the two clans. Back then, Ōnikunishi used the Hami Yumi bow to bombard me with several thousand of these arrows. That attack did sting a lot!"

On the battlefield,

Just now, he released an aura of his divinity to scare the little prince in front of him. He did this to mainly toy with the latter and see the reaction of Ōnikunishi.

"Looks like your father doesn't care about you!" He mumbles.

"OH!" Suddenly, an expression of interest appears on Shutendōji's face.

He glances in the direction of Redaku and notices the blue barrier resisting his barrier.

"Interesting! Very interesting! What a strong power of karma! I didn't expect that thing to be here."

A smile appears on Shutendōji's face.

"Looks like this small world holds many secrets and treasures."

"Oh, no!" Seiryū's expression turns ugly as he recalls something.

"I won't let you harm her!" The hesitation in his eyes vanishes, and he takes out a Gohei (a flail-type wand) and throws it towards Shutendōji.

Shutendōji ignores the Gohei since he doesn't sense any threatening aura about it. He motions a grabbing gesture towards the Redaku island.

On the Redaku island,

Suddenly, a massive purple hand of chakra bloats the sky. The palm of the massive chakra hand engulfs the entire island.

"What? What's this?"

The eyes of residents widen in shock.

"Is the world going to end?" Several normal residents of Donut Island fall on their knees and pray to the Goddess to protect them.

"What's happening?"

The sudden change surprises even Shinobis and the members of the Uzu clan. The terrifying aura of the massive hand send shivers down their spine and most shinobis buckle up under the pressure.

Tsunade, Minato, Kushina, Mei, and other Kages and commanders are no better. Only the area around Ayaka is slightly safe from the pressure.

Shisui, who was also in awful shape, slowly raised his head to glance at the terrifying hand.

"This... this looks like a Susanoo!" He mutters under his breath.

Itachi, Fugaku, and the members of the Hyuga clan who hear his words also raise their heads with difficulty.

"It... it's really a Susanoo!" Fugaku gulps his saliva.

"But... but how's that possible!" He murmurs in intense disbelief.

A massive chakra Avatar with a similar appearance to that of a Susanoo covers the entire planet. Its size is almost a hundred thousand times that of a normal Susanoo.

The divine technique, Susanoo, has an entirely different power in the hands of the Shutendōji, the progenitor of the Otsutsuki clan.

The entire shinobi world trembles from the pressure emitted by the massive humanoid chakra construct.
