Chapter 592: A Interesting incident that happened to me
I have a very interesting as well as harrowing experience to share since it happened today with me.
So, today I had an appointment with the dentist for my bad molars (There is a cavity). The dentist is in another city since the dentist in my city isn't that good. So, I boarded a public transportation bus to transit.
I exited the bus hub and called a cab (Auto or three-wheeler, as we say it to be more accurate since it's much cheaper and I have to travel like 5 more kms). There was already a passenger in the cab, wrapped in a blanket, hiding his face (a common practice in India during winter). He moved aside, and I sat on his right. There were only two of us in the three-wheeler.
Everything was fine till he decided to get off. Before the fucker got off, he scratched my white pant with a black crayon like marker. I cussed him a bit, but he quickly ran away.
I was in a sour mood but went on my way to the dentist. Did my checkup, the dentist temporarily filled my molar, and I left the hospital. Everything is fine so far.
The police officer calmed me down and then told me about the recent robberies and their gang. Apparently, that first person was a scout who marks unsuspected targets after hearing their destination (in my case, a hospital slightly far away). After marking with a permanent mark, he message his buddies about the target. His buddies wait outside for the target to appear and then they rob him. If the target resists, they stab him and quickly rob and leave.
I was terrified to hear this and asked them to escort me, which they did. However, it was certainly a traumatizing incident.
This isn't my first time witnessing a crime. I have seen murder, robbery, dacoity and other incidents with my own eyes. But this is the first time I became a victim. If I wasn't lucky and fast enough, perhaps I won't be here writing this.
I decided to share my experience to mostly calm my heart.
