Both of them burst out in laughter.
Sasuke and Itachi stare at their battle with confusion.
"What kind of battle is this? This seems more like a greeting." Sasuke comments.

"Despite their differences, both Madara and Hashirama are best friends who understand each other. It was only later, due to some incident, that Madara changed drastically." Mito sighs.
"So, this punch was their method of greeting."

After the punch, Hashirama pauses and turns to Mito and others.
"Everyone, leave this gut to me. You should all hurry to the battlefield and help the rest to deal with the Ten Tail's Jinchuriki."

Sasuke summons a giant eagle, and the group flies towards the battlefield.
Madara and Hashirama glance at their departing back and glance at each other.
"This part of you is the same as before!" Hashirama remarks.
"And you haven't changed a single bit after so many years!" Madara retorts.
Madara riles up his chakra. Blue chakra flame rises from his body and morphs into a massive humanoid.

Hashirama also makes a series of hand signs and claps his hands.

A massive wooden dragon erupts from the ground. Hashirama leaps on top of the dragon's head and glances at Madara.
Madara's Susanoo summons a massive curved chakra blade and swings it diagonally towards the wooden dragon.

The dragon releases a roar and opens its mouth to grab the chakra blade. The tail of the dragon sweeps the ground and coils around the Susanoo's leg. With a tug, it throws him off guard and the giant Susanoo falls to the ground, destroying a portion of the nearby forest.

The several thousand quills on the wooden dragon's back turn taut and fly towards Madara's Susanoo.
"Shinra Tensei,"
Madara repels them all with the Rinnegan's power. The repulsive force of the jutsu also pushes the giant wooden dragon back. It loses its balance and stumbles to the ground.

"Let me prepare a sealing jutsu while you two weaken him further." Jiraiya claps his hands and makes a series of hand signs.

Tsunade and Mei glance at each other and charge towards Obito from opposite directions. Naruto also faces him head-on while Jiraiya slowly approaches Obito's body from the back.
"Will they succeed?"
The rest of the shinobis stare at the group with anticipation.
"The future of the Shinobi world lies in their hands. So, they have to!" Onoki clenches his fists.

Suddenly, Naruto yells at Tsunade.

A massive scarlet chakra arm erupts from the ground and strikes Tsunade's body. Due to Naruto's timely reminder, Tsunade crosses her arms in front of her body to block the impact of the blow. Still, the powerful attack sends her flying.

Tsunade pukes a mouthful of blood.
Mei and Jiraiya also dodge to the side and barely avoid the sneak attack.
"His lower body passed through the underground. It's only his upper body above the ground." Jiraiya analyses the situation.

Obito's upper body extends like a snake and crawls towards Naruto at a rapid pace.
Two truth-seeking orbs appear in his palm and turn into a sharp spear.

Before Naruto could dodge the attack, two crimson chakra arms erupt from the ground and grab his legs, holding him in place.
The black spear rapidly approaches Naruto, ready to pierce through his skull.

Suddenly, a giant purple arm appears out of nowhere and grabs the spear, preventing it from inching further.
"Looks like you still need my help, you knucklehead!"
