"That direction! That's HQ."
The expressions of the shinobis on the battlefield turn grim.

Several giant chakra magatama beads explode on top of the ten-tail's head.

A massive lightning blade cleaves Ten-tail's head.

Several massive fireballs rain down on the ten-tails.
"Ice Release: Snow Hailstorm,"
"Carmella: Bone Spear Barrage,"
From the HQ as an epicenter, a powerful seismic shockwave spreads outwards and destroys the ground.
Rumble rumble
Intense rumbling spreads throughout the land and the HQ members suffer another powerful earthquake.
The land beneath us seems to have collapsed. An Earth-release user of the Iwakagure reports the status.
"How's the status of the barrier and the explosion?" Shikaku asks after the trembling calms down a little.
The members of the barrier team heave a sigh of relief at the survival.
"I thought we were a goner. Lady Kushina's barrier is truly one of a kind. To be able to withstand an attack from the ten-tail without even as much as a scratch on the members inside. It's truly a marvelous barrier." The leader of the Barrier Corp praises the barrier.
"What's the status outside, Captain?" Shikaku enquires.
"Shikaku-sama" The captain bows slightly. The members of the medic team heal him as he reports.
"The blast of the tailed beast bomb has settled down. The explosion destroyed forty out of fifty layers of the barrier. We need to supply more chakra crystals to regenerate the barrier. It will take at least half an hour for the barrier to be restored completely."
"Mmm" Shikaku nods.
"Attempt to restore the barrier as soon as possible. We don't have the luxury to not anticipate another attack on such scale on the HQ. We are the brain of the allied shinobi force, so it's a given that the enemy might pull another move to obliterate us."
Several reserve members of the barrier team head out with massive scrolls on their backs. These scrolls carry the Uzumaki fuinjutsu seals and loads of chakra ores to act as the power source for the thousands of nodes of the barrier.
The barrier of the HQ is a massive mega structure with thousands of intertwined fuinjutsu formulas and seals. Each of these fuinjutsu seals has its heaven and earth node and the entire layout of the barrier is similar to an advanced integrated circuit chip if observed from the sky.
The barrier team members repair or replace the damaged fuinjutsu seals and refuel the seals with missing chakra crystals. The consumption of the barrier is so high that they already expanded one-tenth of their current reserve in the previous attack. At such a rate, the barrier could only have ten such attacks from before.
"How's the situation outside?" Shikaku turns to the sensor unit.
"It will take us some time to create another water-sensing sphere." Ao and other sensor shinobis focus their attention on a small water orb in the middle of the room.
"The previous attack destroyed every life form within a radius of two kilometers of the HQ. Ao reports the situation of their surroundings to him.
Shikaku turns to Inoichi and other members of the logistics and communication department.
"How long will it take us to restore our communication with the allied shinobi force?"
"Fifteen minutes at least and thirty minutes at most!" Inoichi gives a conservation estimate.
