"Or should I say he isn't capable of attacking you?" Izuna adds.

Kabuto's massive dragon body falls to the ground.

The duo frowns as they sense the weak fluctuations in Kabuto's chakra.
"W-what happened to him?" They ask after inspecting Kabuto's still body.
"The True 'Six Paths Sage Mode' requires a powerful body and mastery of all chakra natures. He bypassed the first requirement through several body modifications. As for the second requirement, he acquired it by forcefully infusing several conflicting powers into the body. Initially, he planned to stabilize all these powers through nature energy since nature balance all life and energy in harmony." Izuna explains.
"His giant snake body with nine heads represented the several types of powers he mastered. Five elemental natures, two non-elemental chakra natures, bloodline, and finally the Sage Mode. By fusing all these powers and in turns the nine snake heads, Kabuto would evolve into a 'True White Dragon Sage'- the pinnacle of all life forms in the world."
The two brothers glance at the white dragon in front of them.
"Then didn't he meet his goal?" Sasuke asks while pointing at the white dragon.
"Well, it's a bit complicated!" Izuna's sigh echoes in their mind.
"Sasuke, your attack was quite wonderful. You surpassed my expectation and created such a powerful technique. I am impressed." Izuna praises Sasuke.
"And you too, Itachi. Both of you have grown beyond my expectations." Izuna showers them with praises.
"Now, let's talk about Kabuto's current state! He perfectly harmonized all elements and his body evolved into a True Dragon. However, just when his consciousness was about to ascend further, your nature energy-infused lightning attack disrupted the elemental balance in his chakra, which in turn affected his spirit. As a backlash, his mind collapsed, and he could not complete the perfect harmonization of man and nature. So, now his mind is in a vegetative state. Poor guy!" Izuna chuckles slightly.
The white scales of the giant dragon slowly crumble apart and fade away to reveal Kabuto's body.

Tsunade wipes her tears. With Dan's gift, 'The Hyakugou Seal' on her forehead evolves further. It merges with Izuna's 'Senjutsu Seal' to form a much stronger seal.
Tsunade returns to her original appearance with wrinkles and a haggard appearance.

Numerous cracks spread all across her slightly withered body. The dead cells on her skin slowly peel off to reveal smooth white skin.

Now, the last technique 'Ryujin Tensei' or the Dragon God Reincarnation. This technique is similar to Dragon Life Reincarnation except for the fact that it's much more potent and can't be used again by the caster since the caster will die after single usage. This technique is so potent that it can not only bring the dead person back to life but also rejuvenate their body and turn them young or even add a few extra years to their lifespan.
Since all these techniques disrupt the normal balance of nature, they are forbidden techniques and are extremely difficult to master. The mortal laws have to follow the principle of a life for life, hence the cost.
Once any of these techniques are used on a dead person, it will manipulate the laws of nature and collect all the dispersed 'Secondary Souls' of the dead being and harmonize them with the 'True Soul' for a perfect resurrection.
Out of all these techniques, the Rinne Rebirth has the least price to pay since 'Rinnegan' is already a 'Divine Eye' and it can bear the burden of a 'Divine Technique'.
As for why Nagato died after using this technique, there are a few reasons. First, he resurrected a lot of people with this technique. Second, he was low on chakra and paid the price with his remaining life force. Third, his body was already on the verge of failure after the constant leeching of life force by 'the Gedo Statue' for several years.
Nagato lived a miserable life. Madara and Obito, not only planned their resurrection with Nagato's eyes; but also used his body as a vessel to nurture the Gedo Statue.
Izuna shakes his head and sighs.
