Infinite Range: The Sniper Mage

Chapter 162 162: Are You Guys Crazy?

Chapter 162 162: Are You Guys Crazy?

Orson smiled faintly, not exposing the little game that Slaughter and his crew were playing. Slaughter, Demon Emperor, and Blank were close, and Blank was a member of Radiant Shuttle. Orson was willing to give them face for that. In the real world, they still needed the protection of K.D., to keep themselves safe from being wiped out by enemy guilds in the real world.

Of course, this was all contingent on the fact that Slaughter Guild didn't overstep their bounds, or else they'd end up like Dragon's Kiss Guild, wiped off the map.

"We'll meet again some other time."

Slaughter Spree's face was stiff, and he quickly motioned for his team to retreat.

Orson nodded indifferently, not making things difficult for them. He then deactivated the Ice Prison Ring and allowed them to return to town.

"Should we... regroup and attack again?" the members of Zongheng whispered, still in shock.

These two dragon knight candidates were killed by a mage with basic attacks? How terrifying was this super mage? What kind of person was Drunken Dream to be able to kill them? Did it mean that Drunken Dream's strength even surpassed the limits of the rankings?

No matter how many people were instigating trouble or how many UC Guild players were present, they all froze in place, unable to understand how those exaggerated crits had been delivered.

UC-Wind Chaser: "Don't involve me, my game pod is broken today, I'll fight again some other time!"

"Are we just going to let him off?" A level 27 priest hesitated.

UC-Flying Man: "Sorry, guys, my stomach hurts today, I couldn't even use one-tenth of my strength. Next time, I'll definitely get him!"

The two dragon knight candidates who were lying on the ground felt a chill run down their spines. What, they were supposed to get up and face further humiliation?

They weren't idiots, so they came up with some of the lamest excuses to save face, because if they didn't, they'd be laughed at in the guild for the rest of their careers.

"They're taking advantage of us being in bad shape?"

"Dammit, I can't stand it. Why are they letting these lifestyle players monopolize the grind points? I won't let it slide!"

"But he's just one mage with a lizard pet, and we've got the numbers. Let's go all in, even if it means taking them both down with us!"

However, the UC Guild members clearly misunderstood. Shouting and rushing from all sides, they were intent on throwing themselves into battle.

I Love Family: "What? Didn't the two lead dragon knights get one-shot already?"

Sigh "Fighting is just so troublesome," Orson sighed, his "Field of the Elder" opening once more.

Before Slaughter Spree and the others could make a move, they were frozen in place again. Chaos Flames began to burn around them.

Slaughter Spree: "You... are you guys crazy? Why provoke him!"

Slaughter Qingcheng: "Damn it, my potion is still on cooldown. I'm going to burn to death..."

The members of Slaughter Guild cursed and suffered under the burn debuff. Priests in their group frantically cast healing spells, but it wasn't enough to keep up with the nearly 8,000 damage per second from the burn.

Seeing that the whole team was about to be wiped out, Shenfu's mind began to race, and he quickly adapted.

"Slaughter Spree requests to join the team."

Orson was momentarily surprised. This guy may look like he was asking for trouble, but he was actually quite clever. By joining Orson's team, they would be considered allies and would be immune to the Ice Prison Ring's negative debuffs.

"Smart. I'll give you a thumbs up," Orson laughed heartily and accepted the team request.

The lifestyle players shared in the experience, their confusion growing. They were used to slowly grinding monsters for small amounts of experience, but now, just a few minutes of work and they had leveled up.

"What? We leveled up already?"

In just two minutes, half of the team leveled up, all of them still in shock.

Orson muttered to himself, opening his status window to check his stats.

Name: Orgod

Race: Human

Level: 40

Magic Attack: 2,000

HP: 7,300/7,300

MP: 78,000/78,000

Attack Speed: 3.0

Agility: 100

Defense: 240/30% resistances

Crit Rate: 35%

Range: 7,240 meters

Free Attribute Points: 150

Skill Points: 650

Talent Points: 3

Previously, Orson had been grinding with Bradley and the others all morning, raising his attack to 2,000.

The Heavenly Spirit's Right Eye boosted his crit damage by 600%, so with his base crit, he could hit seven times crit damage. When combined with the threefold damage bonus from Celestial Descent, he could deal over 40,000 damage on a direct hit, not even counting the splash damage.

His stats weren't just powerful; they were absolutely astonishing.

With a 7-kilometer range, he could cover most of the Pilgrimage Ancient Road grinding points from his position. The Ice Prison Ring kept everything close by frozen, while the Crimson Lizard King cleaned up.

He wasn't running dungeons because they would waste time running between areas, and the mobs there weren't as plentiful or constant.

"Completed B-rank subjugation task: Cleared Necrotic Wardens 300/300."

"Free Points +7, Skill Points +10, Silver Coins +50, Experience +20,000."

With his hunting level now at Silver Rank, Orson could take on higher-difficulty B-rank tasks and earn even more rewards.

Right now, though, these small rewards weren't what interested him. His primary goal was to reach 100,000 kills as soon as possible and max out his Soul Seal proficiency.

Once he did that, he'd deliver a heavy blow to his enemies—players or NPCs alike. With 100,000 mana, 10 kilometers of range, and 20x crit damage, Orson was preparing for an unstoppable power surge!
