Chapter 121: Chapter 121 - "Wind Elemental Territory' & 'Ice Elemental Territory' - The Trials Of The Forebears (Part 29)

In the 'Wind Elemental Territory', Because the flow of the wind kept disrupting Mo Yuxin and Su Yubing from flying in the direction they want, they couldn't even move from their original position.

And if they tried to force their way through, a huge guest of wind would blow through them which almost makes them feel imbalanced and causes them to loose their senses of balance.

"What is this? The flow of wind here is too weird." Su Yubing couldn't help but say after she failed to move the way she wanted.

"Yes. The wind here flows in such a way that it actually disrupts our center of gravity whenever we try to move. That's why we don't get affected when we don't move but simply stay afloat in one place." Mo Yuxin gave her the analysis she came up with after carefully discerning the surroundings as well as the flow of the wind here.

After saying this, she also added,

"There's actually not much mystery in it. Except that whoever made this definitely has a high attainment in the air element, far higher than we could possibly even comprehend now. That's why a simple guest of wind is enough to disrupt our movement.

We need to somehow overcome the flow of the wind and try to move in the way we want, otherwise fighting beasts in such a situation would be extremely tough."

Hearing her words, Su Yubing also nodded to show her understanding and then they both tried to move forward , backward, left and right in a slow manner to prevent themselves from not loosing control like before.

But, the fruit of their result was obviously not good as even after half an hour, they still couldn't move the way they wanted.

At this point, Mo Yuxin suddenly stopped and instead of aimlessly trying to move, she began to observe the flow of the wind whenever she tried to move. Su Yubing also stopped and followed what she was doing without any distraction.

As she observed it closely with utmost concentration, she finally noticed a set of patterns in the flow of the wind.

The patterns seems irregular and almost random at first glance but at a deeper analysis, she found out that whenever they tried to move in whichever direction they wanted, the wind would flow in the exact opposite direction but that's not all as simply with this the wind wouldn't be able to disrupt their movements.

What was more interesting was that, the simple wind which seems simple at first glance actually hides a small secret that they hadn't noticed before.

It's that, whenever they tried to move, the wind would not only flow in the opposite direction but a part of it would actually flow in their direction in a parallel line but this part is the most crucial point of breakthrough.

As this simple part of the wind actually causes an imbalance in their ability to fly in which their body must be weightless for them to fly.

In other words, this part of the wind is not weightless like normal but actually carries a lot of weight and sticks itself to their legs in a very sneaky way that without carefull observation, they wouldn't have noticed it at all.

"Did you notice it?" While observing the flow of the wind, Mo Yuxin asked Su Yubing if she has also noticed it, to which she gave a low hum in affirmation.

After their observation, they both looked at each other and finally knew how to solve their current predicament.

And it was actually very simple, first of all, they needed to grasp the flow of the wind and flow parallel to it instead of trying to go opposite to it.

It's a crude yet effective solution as the whoever made this 'Wind Elemental Territory' definitely was a terrifying master in the elements of wind and at their current level, they simple cannot hope to bypass it.

The temparature was extremely low, almost enough to freeze a normal foundation building stage cultivator if he/she doesn't constantly use their spiritual energy to cover them from head to toe to prevent the icy temperature to seep into their bodies.

And the mechanical voice sounded again with same contents,

"Welcome to the trial 'Ice Elemental Territory'...

Mo Yuxin and Su Yubing didn't bother to listen to it anymore and simply began observing their surroundings.

The wind here was extremely cold, almost enough to freeze their skin and seep directly into their bones and muscles and even blood.

Of course, Mo Yuxin and Su Yubing didn't need to specifically protect their bodies with spiritual power but Mo Yuxin still didn't like the cold feeling all over her body and subconsciously created a barrier to prevent the cold wind from affecting her mental state.

On the other hand, Su Yubing seemed to particularly like this coldness as she had a slight smile at the corner of her lips which indicated that the cold ice didn't bother her but made her happy.

Mo Yuxin couldn't help but take a step closer towards her to hold her hand and immediately felt the chilling coldness from her fair skin and couldn't help but become worried,

"Is it okay?"

Hearing the concern in her voice, Su Yubing looked towards her and said in a soft voice,

"No, it's okay. Actually it must be because the 'frost quenching method' I practice is actually ice elemental, that's why this ice element territory is rather helpfull towards my body and even slightly advances my body Cultivation. Though the advancement is almost negligible but it still feels nice."

Hearing her, Mo Yuxin out aside her worries and instead asked,

"Do you want to cultivate here for the 30 days?

"No. It's okay. The pure ice element feels nice but this is nowhere near enough to even advance my 'Frost Quenching Method' by even a single percentage."

After saying this, Su Yubing added with an excited smile on her face,

"Anyway, let's see what kind of beasts are there in such a cold ice territory."
