Chapter 300 The truth about Chaos energy (2)

"They're real... I... How do I bring them here?" Lucas asked, his eyes filled with desperation.

The overseer regarded him with an unexpressive face.

-"There is a slight possibility for that, but you won't be able to do it until you reach a certain level of strength and skill proficiency."-

"I don't care—just tell me how I can!" Lucas shouted, his face still etched with desperation.

-"Reach level 100. Until then, I can't provide the details."-

"Level 100..." Lucas's face paled, a shade of gray washing over him before his resolve returned with renewed vigor.

"I can do that. No, I will do that. But wait—what's the time difference between that world and the Plains of Amaeron?" Experience tales at My Virtual Library Empire

-"It's not as you might think. For every month that passes here, two months will have gone by in that world."-

"...Thank you, Overseer. And I apologize for the unsightly behavior I displayed just now." Lucas rose to his feet, offering her an elegant bow.

-"There is no need to apologize. Now, shall we discuss more pressing issues?"-

"Please, go ahead," he replied, stepping forward to pull out a chair for the overseer. Once she was seated, he took the seat opposite her.

-"How are your people faring? I hope you've established a territory by now."-

"I have established the territory, though I haven't discovered much about it yet."

-"That's perfectly fine. Everything will unfold naturally as you develop it further. Your primary skill is particularly suited to forming and expanding a territory."

-"Now, let's address the contract. You're not fulfilling your part of the deal, and it's hindering my growth."-

"My apologies. Given that you're aware of my current strength, how many levels of the dungeon do you think I can complete right now?"

-"I can't give you a precise answer, but the promise of a reward of your choice still stands. Are you planning to complete some levels now?"-

"Hm... The way you speak suggests that it's not an issue for me to complete more than one at a time. But that will have to wait until you explain this." Lucas pushed up the sleeve of his leather vest, revealing the gruesome, ominous mark on his arm.

-"My pleasure."-

"Please send me to the dungeon boss now." Lucas rose from the chair with an upright posture, each movement exuding a noble air. It was a maturity level uncommon in an 18-year-old.

-"Good luck, Lucas Garde. We will meet again soon."-

As she spoke, a gate materialized a few inches in front of Lucas.

With a courteous bow, he calmly stepped into the gate, vanishing from the white-lit room.

Just as before, the scenery shifted as Lucas entered the dungeon. This time, he found himself in a vast, dimly lit room.

"Let's see..." His eyes scanned the room, stopping at a runic circle.

Lucas stepped forward and vanished from his previous position, reappearing directly in front of the circle. He crouched down, his fingers tracing the runes with curiosity.

'It's a transportation circle of a very high level. I can't decipher it with my current strength,' Lucas assessed, quickly distancing himself from the center of the circle.

Lucas was sensitive to mana movements, and he felt a massive surge of energy from the circle when suddenly, a white light materialized something before him.

'Well, that is not good...'

Lucas looked in the front calmly, his gaze never left the silhouette that just materialized from the transportation circle.

The creature in front of him had a red metallic armor equipped which gave off a bright luster even though the light in the room was dim at best.

Lucas looked at that armor with curious eyes. His hand twitched a little.

'That's metal I have not seen and worked with till now, I wonder what its composition is...'
