Chapter 186 No Fatigue (2)
Chapter 186 No Fatigue (2)
"What do you mean? I am the one who digs anyway." The guy said with indifference.
"Yeah but I can do it on my own right now, you can go. Your skill has already reached level 5, right?"
"Yeah, 3 days ago." Mike smiled as he came even closer. He stopped after coming just a little closer to the canal and moved his hands up.
Soon, grains of soil started coming out of the ground making Lucas look at them with a sigh.@@@@
"How I wish to this skill too..."
"You have better ones." Mike said while a cheeky smile formed on his face. The grains of soil while coming out dropped at the side where the outline of the canal was not made.
In this whole project, John was the one who made the markings for the whole month. Lucas dug the hole deep while Mike could just take the soil out with the help of his skill.
"Geomancy... the name still doesn't hit right in my ears."
"The skill is quite useful but I can still not use it in any battle even when it's level 5 already."
"Well, some skills are not made for fighting, now if I started hoping that my potion brewing could help me in fights, I would always be depressed you know. Not a good feeling."
"Yeah, but you use your potions to fight, they are the ones that give you buffs and mana renewal you know."
"That is a totally different thing and can't you still make some spears or projectiles from the ground? I thought it would finally be possible after reaching level 5"
"Just look" Mike sighed and concentrated further, soon, more grains of dirt came out of the ground randomly and fused together in mid-air.
Lucas looked at the dirt shape itself into a long staff in the air and couldn't help but feel envy. It was too cool.
Soon, even the staff looked to be sharpened from one end finally giving the staff the look of a spear.
"No need, you will really die and everyone will blame me and not believe how crazy you are."
"Hey come one, just one shot huh, just one. I promise I will be far so that I can react properly."
"Are you sure? I know this fire bullet is no joke, Lucas. And don't you want to complete this canal already, I am itching to break that bank at the river."

Lucas's face bloomed when he thought about that dam they made so that the water didn't just start pouring into the unfinished canal.
"Alright, let's just get this finished, but you owe me a fire bullet."
"Yes Yes" Mike was pretty happy that he could finally persuade Lucas.
He didn't want to shoot him unsupervised, having John or Jerry look while he with consent, shot Lucas would make them believe that Mike was the real victim here.
Lucas and Mike continued their work on the canal, digging and shaping the earth to create a waterway that would benefit their group.
They went and did the work for an hour without stopping and this was the Queue for Mike.
He sat near a tree that had a big root that acted as a natural seat.
He looked at Lucas using the pickaxe to smack the rock that had obstructed their way to oblivion.
Mike took a break for 10 minutes which was the exact time Lucas needed to make that rock into dirt and small pieces.
Mike went on and worked with Lucas again for another 30 minutes until he had to replenish his Mana and stamina again.
He again sat and looked at Lucas just using the shovel to keep digging continually.
That was when Mike first realized that something weird was going on.
