Chapter 694 So This Is What It Means to Never Force Anything!?

Chapter 694 So This Is What It Means to Never Force Anything!?

Within Core Hell, on the battlefield between Hell's forces and the invaders.

The originally crowded and chaotic battlefield seemed to freeze as if time itself had been suddenly paused.

The billions-strong Scourge Legion disappeared without a trace, as if wiped away like dust, while the several million soldiers of Hell's side were also completely silent. All of them stood dumbfounded, their eyes wide open, staring up at Sterl suspended in the air. Their minds were blank.

Sterl hovered above, still surrounded by the undulating aura of hundreds of different Law Powers. The destructive, pure power within him surged, and for a moment, it was impossible to tell whether he was a Genesis Lord or a Destroyer God.

It wasn't until Sterl gradually reined in his aura and cast his gaze downward that the gods and upper-level divine authorities recovered from their shock. They immediately lowered their heads, not daring to meet his gaze, as a sign of respect.

"This... this is really the kind of power that Executor of Hell can wield?"

The Lord of Hell from this layer of hell muttered to himself in disbelief, his face pale with astonishment. To anyone who didn't know better, they might have thought he'd seen a ghost.

Like the others, he had only heard of the title Executor of Hell but had never actually seen it in person. After all, Hell had rarely interacted with the outside world. In the Main World, Hell was always seen as the embodiment of evil and destruction, a place where everyone wished to eradicate.

So the beings of Hell had long been isolated within their domain.

Additionally, due to the scarcity of resources within Hell, no strong figures would ever come to conquer or plunder it. This was why the Executor of Hell title had never truly appeared before.

But now, not only had it appeared, but it had also rescued them from the crisis with thunderous power!

However, the power Sterl displayed and the attitude of Hell toward him made this powerful Lord of Hell begin to doubt. Such power didn't seem like it could come from Hell at all!

Even if Hell were to truly give birth to an avatar, it would be difficult for it to deal so easily with the terrifying monster that had taken Lord of Hell several days to confront.

That monster had exceptional physical strength and was cloaked in a Flame that could weaken and resist upper-level divine authority's Divine Power and Law—extremely dangerous.

During that time, he had used every method he could think of, and even when he had managed to injure it, the creature recovered rapidly. On top of that, any contact with the gray Flame would leave him severely weakened. This disadvantage had almost driven him to despair.

However, in front of this mysterious Executor, it was like a little chick—easily obliterated and slaughtered with no effort at all. It was absolutely terrifying!

Taking a deep breath, the Lord of Hell slowly lowered his head and spoke in a respectful tone.

"Greetings, great Executor. My name is Gene. I thank you for your assistance."

No matter how you looked at it, whether it was the fact that Sterl had saved them or the overwhelming strength he displayed, he was deserving of their respect.

Looking down at the Hellish beings beneath him, who were as numerous as pilgrims, Sterl smiled with satisfaction.

Then, his gaze locked onto Gene, this Lord of Hell.

Gene, like many gods of Hell, appeared human, but there was always a subtle negative aura about him—this was the hallmark of a Hellish deity. There was no difference between him and the Will of Hell; he was indeed a true upper-level divine authority. In fact, the aura emanating from him was even stronger than that of the Silver Moon Wolf God, whom Sterl had trapped and killed using Dream Power.@@@@

However, A scholar should be regarded with fresh eyes after three days apart—now, with his current strength, even if the Silver Moon Wolf God were resurrected, Sterl could still suppress him completely with absolute power, turning the god into an obedient little dog!

That statement relaxed Gene somewhat, easing the tension in his chest. Secretly, he thought to himself,

"It seems this Executor knows where to draw the line. I'm a Lord of Hell, how could I ever become a slave? This must be some kind of cruel joke." Stay connected via My Virtual Library Empire

Just as he thought this, an overwhelming pressure descended from above, as if the heavens themselves were crashing down upon him!

Gene grunted in pain, immediately drawing upon his Divine Power to resist the pressure. He looked up, his face filled with horror as he saw what was coming.

Sterl, still wearing that mysterious yet elegant smile, was holding a swirling mass of energy—formed from four hundred and eighty types of Law Power—and was slowly bringing it down towards him.

"It's alright. Since you don't want to serve me, we can try another method. I never force anyone."

As he spoke, the punch fell.

The terrifying, pure power seemed like an invisible Void Behemoth, and the surrounding space shattered like a broken mirror, splitting into countless cracks.

The force spread along those cracks, directly enveloping Gene.

Suddenly, the Divine Power barrier that Gene desperately forced into existence shattered with a deafening explosion. The terrifying force, like an invisible, unyielding weight of a prison, pinned his body in place, leaving him utterly immobile.

Above him, the destruction vortex—formed from hundreds of types of Law—was rapidly approaching, closing in with blinding speed.

In that moment, Gene almost shut down entirely.

Was this guy a complete lunatic? Had he forcibly taken this identity in Hell?

The way he acted—this didn't look like an Executor of Hell at all. He was clearly a reckless, consequence-blind brute!

So much for "never forcing anyone." Instead of bending, he was ready to simply crush you with a punch, right? It was maddening!

In a frenzy, Gene pushed every ounce of power and divine authority within him. But then, he was horrified to realize that his prized Divine Authority was losing control under the swirling Law vortex. His Divine Power was being ruthlessly suppressed by the overwhelming force.

As for his physical strength, the difference between Divine Authority and lower-level Divine Power lay not in the physical form but in the force that governed Law and the Divine Authority itself. His body remained largely unaffected, but this meant his own meager strength was like that of a defenseless infant in front of Sterl. He couldn't even summon it, let alone fight back.

"Goodbye, interesting Lord," Sterl murmured softly, his fist coming down like a meteor, swift and merciless.

In that instant...

The Law vortex pierced the distance, reaching Gene's chest. The chaotic Law Power within the vortex tore at his already unstable Divine Authority like a meat grinder, violently shredding it apart.

And that was before the vortex truly descended. At this rate, he wouldn't even be able to last a moment. Even if he activated every last card he had, he could only delay his death by a sliver of a second—completely meaningless.

Gene's eyes widened in terror. In that moment, a more intense sense of impending doom surged in his heart than when he had faced that terrifying monster earlier.

It wasn't so much a deathly shadow looming over him—it was as if he was caught in a kaleidoscope of life!

Everything he had ever experienced flashed before his eyes, from his birth all the way to his death...
