Chapter 966: Capturing Nibi

Land of Lightning.

Hyōketsu and Hidan walked silently through the mist-covered peaks, stealthily approaching the training ground of Nibi's Jinchuriki, Nii Yugito.

As Jinchuriki, whether it is Killer B or Yugito, they all have a fixed training place, and generally, there are very few people to disturb them.

Before Hidan could finish, a sudden deafening roar came from the mountain peak.

The two looked up to see a colossal beast enveloped in mist crashing down!

Hyōketsu and Hidan immediately retreated to the sides.

"Who are you?" The giant fell at a terrifying speed, but when it landed, it made no sound, like a dexterous cat.

"Wouldn't you be..."

Hidan looked a huge monster that emerged from the mist, then said with great joy, "Nibi?"

"Hmph!"

When Nibi saw that this guy was not a good person, it immediately opened its mouth and spewed out waves of blue flames.

The blue flames danced through the air, chasing after the fleeing Hidan with a life of their own.

"Hey, aren't you going to help?" Hidan yelled.

"Didn't someone claim they could handle this alone?" Hyōketsu mocked with a smile.

"Bastard!"

Hidan was infuriated, and stopped running.

Boom boom boom!

"Why didn't it bleed?" Hidan was puzzled.

"Idiot, Nibi is a Chakra entity, how could it have blood?" Hyōketsu mocked.

"Bastard!!!"

Hidan cursed, then secretly thought, 'It seems that I need to force the Jinchuriki out, otherwise...'

Just as he thought that, Nibi's massive body suddenly twisted and shrank, and then Yugito emerged.

"Who on earth are you? What is your purpose in coming to Kumogakure?!" Yugito crossed her arms, looking at the two people before her arrogantly.

Hyōketsu was dumbfounded when he saw this, 'What is this operation?'

'By fighting in Biju form, even if you couldn't kill Hidan, at least you'd be safe. Now that you've revealed your true form, once Hidan gets your blood, aren't you done for?'

Hyōketsu was too lazy to care about him, and went straight to Yugito, frowning slightly.

'Yugito had fainted, but Nibi hadn't. Why didn't it come out to protect her?'

Hyōketsu bent down and grabbed Yugito, then poured some Chakra into her body. He then discovered that Nibi was blocked by the Biju Seal. With Yugito unconscious, the seal was activated, preventing Nibi from emerging.
