Chapter 943: Aftermath

After removing Obito's right eye, Kanpū sealed the precious Sharingan into a scroll.

Seeing this, Minato nodded slightly, then dismissed everyone, telling them to take care of the aftermath and settle the civilians. He planned to take Obito back to the Anbu's Headquarters for a personal interrogation.

However, Kakashi, Guy, Asuma and the others insisted on participating in the interrogation and refused to leave.

And Kanpū also kept winking at Minato.

This is also the reason why Kanpū did not bring Hachibi back to Konoha openly.

"What do you plan to do with him, Hokage-sama?" Kanpū asked.

Minato pondered and said, "I will choose someone from the invaders, erase their memory, and then seal Hachibi into their body. After that, we wait for Shisui's Kotoamatsukami."

With the help of Hashirama's cells implanted in his left arm, the cooldown time of Shisui's Kotoamatsukami had been reduced to less than half, from ten years to about five. Kanpū estimated that by next year, Shisui should be able to use Kotoamatsukami again.

When that time comes, Hachibi will become like Sanbi, belonging to Konoha.

"Kanpū, let's go get Hachibi." Minato said.

At the end, dressed in black robes, sat Obito.

Obito has a white bandage tied to his right eye, and blood faintly leaked out from the bandage. He sat silently with his head down.

The atmosphere in the meeting room was a bit tense.

"Sensei."

"Hokage-sama."

"Yondaime."

Seeing Minato enter, everyone quickly stood up to greet him.

Obito turned his head slightly when he heard the sound, and a disdainful smile appeared on the ugly right half of his face.

"Please, everyone, take a seat." Minato consciously walked to the head of the table and sat down.

Kanpū followed, but found that the seats around the conference table were already filled. There was simply no room for him.
