Chapter 16 NEW FUNCTIONS & UPGRADES PART 1

The structure seemed to be shrouded in mist, its delicate green pillars adorned with intricate carvings of peach blossoms. Beside it was a flowing river, with clear water that sparkled like liquid crystal in the ethereal light.

Li Hua had always found solace in this corner of her space, where the sound of rushing water would help ease her worries.

As she approached, memories of her past life flickered through her mind—countless nights spent meditating here, planning her next move, or simply seeking refuge from the weight of her responsibilities.

But now, the air thrummed with newfound possibility. The mist curled around her small fingers like a curious cat, and the very stones beneath her feet seemed to resonate with an energy that had always been present but never accessible to her senses. Something fundamental had shifted in her connection to this place, and she could feel it in every breath she took.

"Master, hurry!" Little Firefly shouted and Li Hua quickened her pace, her bare feet barely making a sound against the smooth stone path. The spirit's excitement was contagious, and she found herself wondering what changes her soul transfer might have brought to this familiar sanctuary.

"Sit, master!" Little Firefly bounced beside a bench.

Li Hua's fingers traced the edge of the nearest shelf, its cool jade surface familiar as an old friend. Each item in this vast chamber told a story—of power earned through cunning, of wealth accumulated through precision, of survival ensured through paranoid preparation.

The perfect preservation of each item stood as a testament to the chamber's mystical nature. Not a speck of dust, not a hint of decay, everything remained exactly as she had left it, frozen in time like memories given physical form.

"Master." Little Firefly spoke softly, knowing that his master must be reminiscing about her previous life again.

"Hmm?" She replied, her hands and eyes focused on a small dagger.

The blade gleamed with the same deadly sheen it had possessed when she'd first acquired it in Prague, its edge still sharp enough to split a falling hair.

"All the items in here can now be duplicated. Although, there is a limit to how many times you could duplicate an item, it's still quite good, right?" Little Firefly bounced excitedly in the air, his light pulsing brighter with barely contained enthusiasm.
