Inside the dimly lit tent, the atmosphere was tense as Princess Amara and Leela continued to question Das about his time on Skull Island. With each passing moment, Das felt the pressure building, and his patience was wearing thin. He had agreed to help Amara and her family, but he never signed up to have his personal life scrutinised.

Finally, unable to contain his frustration any longer, Das stood up from his seat and locked eyes with Amara. His voice was firm, laced with irritation. "Princess, before I pledged my loyalty to you, we had an agreement," he said pointedly. "You promised not to pry into my personal life, and now you're questioning me like I'm a war criminal. Is this the worth of your promise?"

"You're right, and I didn't mean to breach our agreement. It's just that Viper's disappearance has put us all on edge, and I'm desperate for answers."

Leela, who had been silent until now, interjected with a mix of concern and skepticism. "But what if you do know something about Viper? What if you're hiding information that could help us find her?"

Das sighed, feeling the weight of the situation. "I've already told you; I know nothing about Viper," he said firmly. "I have my own challenges to deal with, and I'm not involved in whatever is happening with her. If you want my help, I'm more than willing to assist, but I won't be treated like a suspect in your investigation."@@@@

As the tense silence filled the dimly lit tent, Princess Amara found herself at a loss for words. Das's direct question about her promise left her feeling unsettled, and she couldn't help but wonder if there was more to him than met the eye. His composure and confidence, even under pressure, only added to her suspicions.

But despite her growing doubts, one thing was clear to Amara – pushing Das any further on the matter of Viper would yield no results. He had remained steadfast in his denial, and no amount of questioning seemed to sway him. With a heavy sigh, she turned her attention to Leela, who still stood there with a dagger in hand, her anger not fully subsided.

"Leela, please calm down," Amara said, her tone firm but soothing. "He has made it clear that he knows nothing about Viper's disappearance."

Leela's eyes narrowed, but she eventually nodded, reluctantly sheathing her dagger. She had always been fiercely protective of her sister, and the possibility of Viper being in danger had her on edge.

His special vision gave him an advantage, allowing him to see what others couldn't.

The night air was cool, and the sound of waves crashing against the nearby shore brought a sense of calmness to his troubled mind.

As he walked, he couldn't help but think about Princess Amara and her promises. He knew he couldn't fully trust her, despite her seemingly genuine appreciation for his control of the city. Her interest in him went beyond what she let on, and he had to be cautious not to reveal too much about his own.

As Das neared the main road, he saw a car parked at a distance. Using his special vision, he confirmed his suspicion – it is Red Rose. A wide grin spread across his face after seeing her.

With a sense of warmth and excitement, Das quickened his pace to reach the car. As he approached, Red Rose noticed him and switched on the car's headlights, as she rolled down the window.

Das sat beside her and kissed her hand affectionately. They did not speak a single word with each other. Red Rose started the car and began driving it towards the city centre.
