Chapter 262 : Nervous Girls

Old city, Mumbai...

Inside a large white palace, a group of girls were gathered around a dining table.

A young woman in her twenties with beautiful features and gold coloured eyes occupied the head of the table. A small baby with two different eye colours is giggling in the hands of the young woman.

"Madam, what happened to the young master? Why is he not replying?" Sana, the daughter of Abdullah's family patriarch, asked Stella, the girl brought home to take care of the baby.

All the girls, including Ruth, who sat at the opposite side of the table, are eagerly waiting for Stella's reply.

"Sana, we don't need to worry. Das went to visit a secret family. He already said there would be no communication available in that place. So, please wait for one more day. First, serve food for everyone." Stella typed the text on the mobile screen and showed it to Sana.

After seeing the smiling face of Stella, Sana immediately ordered the servants to serve the food to all the students of Eden who sat around the dining table. But Ruth is still staring at Stella, who is not smiling genuinely.

With loud murmuring and gossiping, the girls finished their food. Stella was the first one to finish eating and go inside her room with the baby. Without alerting anyone, Ruth followed Stella into the main bedroom and shut the door behind her.

Stella stared at Ruth with a surprised look. She already guessed the reason for Ruth's visit. While staring at Ruth, Stella tried to act normal without showing any worries. But under Ruth's constant stares, she failed to keep up.

The tears started rolling down on Stella's cheeks. In one step, Ruth reached Stella and hugged her like an elder sister.

"Its ok. He is persistent like a weed. Nothing will happen to him. It's not your fault. So, don't blame yourself."

Das has yet to respond after two days. Even though Stella messaged Natalia, the girl who took Das to the skull organisation, it was no use. Natalia replied that Das is safe, but she didn't know the exact details.@@@@

"Madam, as I said, he is perfectly alright. I still don't know why he isn't waking up. I personally ran several tests on his body. But I did not find any problems." The medic replied before getting up from his seat. After answering a few more questions, the medic left the room.

"Ancestor, let me take him to my organisation's base. I can cure him myself." Eden asked in a serious tone, as she is worried about Das, who has been sleeping for the last two days.

"Eden...! Don't forget that my family heirloom is in the hands of this young man. You already violated my family's rules by bringing your entire army inside the family compound. Don't try to test my patience." The old ancestor lashed out at Eden.

Red Rose and Viper tried to refute the ancestor. But Eden stopped them by making a hand gesture.

"Hmmhh... I promised Das, his safety before coming here. For that, I will do anything. Don't try any silly things like last time. Otherwise, your family faces my wrath." Eden spoke in a warning tone and left Serena's bedroom.

The old ancestor continued to stare at the receding back of Eden. She never expected Eden to talk back to her. The other girls also followed Eden. But Viper gave a death stare at Das with a hidden killing intent before leaving the room.

After seeing that everyone went away, Princess Serena, who stood behind a transparent curtain, stepped inside the room.

"Will he ever wake up?" Serena asked the old woman while sitting beside Das body.

"He will. Take good care of yourself first. Are you feeling any pain?" The old ancestor asked Serena in a caring tone.

"No. Everything is good. My two ribs were already fixed, like nothing happened." Serena replied without turning her gaze from the peaceful face of Das.

"Serena, you've already achieved your task. So, don't burden yourself with any unnecessary thoughts." The old ancestor left Serena's bedroom after that sentence.

But several thoughts running inside Serena's immature brain. Unknowingly she started caring about Das.
