Villain's Valor: A Noble Fantasy Resurrection

Chapter 144 Take out your sword

Chapter 144 Take out your sword

Roberto initially tried to refuse, arguing that the sum was too high, but in the end, he chose to remain silent and nod his head. We all knew that my mother's words carried significant weight; she was responsible for managing all the finances of the House of Dragons, so it was natural for her to handle such deals.

Of course, she would also need to obtain my father's consent, but she knew him well enough to anticipate that he would easily agree. After all, my father was in charge of the military aspect of our army, and who wouldn't want to have a well-equipped army at their disposal.

Fortunately, in the city surrounding our house, there was a thriving community of blacksmiths working in a large forge. If Roberto could share some of his knowledge and techniques with them, it would undoubtedly be very beneficial for everyone.

The cooperation between the local blacksmiths and Roberto would not only strengthen our position in the city but also provide us with access to skills and resources that we could leverage in the future.

After my mother finished conversing about where her family lived, I felt the need to intervene quickly. I proposed that they live in the vacant houses within my father's mansion. There were some residences within my father's house that were unoccupied, and being within the mansion's premises, they wouldn't be too far away from us.

My mother nodded and agreed to the idea, but a problem arose: the forge.

However, Roberto acted promptly and showcased his skill by presenting a forge in the form of a cube. My mother's eyes fixed on the cube with fascination, and she couldn't help but let out a small laugh. "Now I see how you were able to create a sword of that level," she commented, admiring Roberto's ingenious solution.

Her eyes sparkled with excitement as she gazed upon the cube transformed into a forge.

His presence radiated authority and power, reminding me of the legacy he carried as the leader of our house. Despite his imposing appearance, I knew that behind that facade lay a heart full of wisdom and compassion, someone who had dedicated his life to protecting and guiding our family towards a prosperous future.

As we all exited the carriage, my father's gaze traveled over all of us, pausing especially on Ema and me. Ema, timidly, hid behind me, seeking refuge in my presence. I had to admit that my father's presence was overwhelming; his mere existence seemed to distort the space around him.

I watched as Roberto and Nicol knelt on one knee in a sign of respect. My mother, with gentle and graceful movements, approached my father and exchanged a few words with him in a serene and respectful tone. After a few moments of silence, my father's eyes sparkled as they rested on Roberto, recognizing his strength and skill.

However, his gaze soon shifted to me, and I could feel the intensity of his scrutiny upon me. "Strong," the dragon murmured, with a depth of understanding in his voice. "Your father is very strong. He is just a step away from entering the Sacred rank, although his strength remains at Mythical-Maximum, he can handle a creature of Sacred rank without any problems" the dragon's voice was serious.

I watched as everything around me distorted, enveloped in a whirlwind of sensations and emotions. When I finally regained my composure, I found myself in a training field, with my father staring at me intently. His words echoed in the air: "Take out your sword"

Meanwhile, Ema and her family remained unaware of what had just transpired. Anthony's mother, with an enigmatic smile on her face, held Anthony's sword in her hands and suggested kindly, "You two need to have a father-son conversation." Her tone was gentle.

With an inviting gesture, she urged Ema's family to enter the house, and then called for Roberto, leading him straight to Noah's office.
