I Have Become A Demon God. Did You Just Ask Me To Be A Minor Villain?

Chapter 54-1

The battle concluded. Within the capital, chaos reigned.

"Queen, the casualties have been tallied. Fortunately, this time, the Count acted in time, and the battle didn't last too long, so the losses aren't significant."

On the Temple Square, official Kathy glanced at Su Mo and reported the losses to the Crescent Moon Queen. Due to Su Mo's intervention, this demon invasion, where the demons directly attacked the Temple Square, coupled with its short duration, and the strengthened vigilance of the Temple and the Crescent Moon Queen, resulted in not substantial losses.

"However, the Holy Level of the Myles family fell in this battle, and also, the Crescent Moon Magic Academy was attacked by some demons. Fortunately, reinforcements arrived in time, and only a few students were lost." Kathy added.

Hearing about the fallen Holy Level, the Crescent Moon Queen inquired about the details. Kathy replied, "We don't know how he died specifically, but he should have been killed by the arriving Demon God. In addition, the heir of Duke Myles probably died along with him."

The Crescent Moon Queen made arrangements, "Handle the comforting work and send some condolences to the Duke..."

Next to them, Su Mo fiddled with a ring on his hand, containing magic message that only he could read.

After dealing with the fourteen Protagonists in one go, Su Mo didn't personally take action against the other Protagonists. However, taking advantage of the chaos in the capital, Su Mo had the Succubus take action.

The demons attacking the Crescent Moon Magic Academy were led by the Succubus. Led by a Demon Lord Level Succubus, they directly rushed in, capturing a Protagonist hiding there. This Protagonist was the disciple of the Holy Level in the Crescent Moon Magic Academy, who couldn't make it to support in time.

Additionally, when the Succubus withdrew from the square, they captured another Protagonist hiding there and took them away. This Protagonist should be the one who had previously passed the official exams. Both of these Protagonists were currently in a state of unconsciousness, placed in a spatial bag, and thrown into a secret location outside the city.

Su Mo had already sent a loyal subordinate to retrieve them. This subordinate wouldn't know what was inside the spatial bag. In this way, Su Mo successfully handled a total of sixteen Protagonists.

In the capital, there should now be only four Protagonists left. These four Protagonists were all within the Holy See. One was core-nurtured, one was the sweeping monk Protagonist, one was in the Religious Tribunal, and one was in the Templar Knights.

Seeing the Crescent Moon Queen arranging matters, Su Mo checked his Villain panel.

[Player: Su Mo (Villain)]

Su Mo then glanced at the items in the inventory on the Villain panel. There are a total of 15 golden fingers. The one he obtained earlier, lying down to become stronger, he still hasn't gained access to it; it's merely sitting there.

"All of them are Bronze Level," Su Mo muttered.

These 15 golden fingers were all Bronze Level. There were a total of 5 system type: the lying-down-to-get-strong system (1), the clock-in-at-work system (2), the become-strong-by-being-an-official system (1), and the skill point distribution system (1).

There was also one ring, a bronze ring. There were a total of 8 talents; although these talents were Bronze Level, they were very high. Moreover, these talents were golden fingers and could be upgraded by consuming Protagonist or Villain Points.

Among the 8 talents, there were 6 magic talents, 1 warrior talent, and one talent that covered all categories.

"Become stronger by being an official... Is this the system belonging to the Protagonist who became an official?" Su Mo thought.

One Protagonist became an official, not just for seeking refuge but also because of this golden finger. It allowed him to become stronger by holding an official position! Presumably, the pattern of this golden finger was that the higher the official position, the stronger the power.

Su Mo took a look at his current Villain Points; he should be able to incorporate two golden fingers and upgrade them to Silver Level simultaneously. Upgrading to the Gold Level was definitely not enough.

To upgrade to a Silver Level golden finger, only 500 Villain Points were needed. To upgrade to a Gold Level golden finger, the cost increased tenfold, requiring 5000 Villain Points.

If there were golden fingers of the same type, they could be fused to reduce the Villain Points required for upgrading. However, here, the same type referred to completely identical ones. Ring-type golden fingers were the most convenient; two rings could be directly fused.

For systems like these, they must be of the same type to be fused. Different types cannot be fused. After scanning through these golden fingers, Su Mo didn't rush to spend Villain Points to gain access. These golden fingers have limited impact on his strength in the short term.

After resolving the remaining Protagonists in the royal capital, Su Mo could consider which one to incorporate first. Among the four Protagonists left in the capital, there were definitely Silver Level ones, possibly more than one. As for Gold Level Protagonists, Su Mo was uncertain.

These four Protagonists within the Holy See were not dealt with by Su Mo this time because he needed to complete the bloodline transformation. Now that the transformation was done, it was time to eliminate these final four Protagonists.
