Chapter 233: Blood Unity Auction —3
Chapter 233: Blood Unity Auction —3
The inner district
It contained the most luxurious structures in all of BloodRock city all compressed into the small space that was the inner district.
"Hmmm" Leon mused as he observed. There was also alot of luminous rocks around creating a path around. The inner district was too close to BloodRock, its massive structure blocked moonlight.
After a few minutes of riding, they came to a stop infront of an unseeming complex painted Crimson red and pitch black.
"We aren’t late right?" Leon frowned.
There didn’t seem to be alot of people on the way here as most were filtered out at the gate. But even inside the inner district, there seemed to be very few people around.
Was he late? That didn’t make any sense.
Shrugging his shoulders Leon proceeded to walk out of the carraige with the kaga puppet beside him holding onto a large sack of powdered dust.@@@@
"Hm? Substandard at best, take it to the side we’ll buy it off your hands" Inside the building, in a particular booth, an old man with white hair surrounding his eyes as if they were goggles spoke.
Infront of him was a woman with a whip adorned with leave petals and thorns. This was a grade 3 weapon and the woman was here to auction it off in the blood unity auction. Unfortunately, this grade 3 weapon was rejected for being substandard.
"I see" the lady was disappointed. Selling her weapon in the auction was not only an honor, but also a way to make massive profits. The people bidding here were usually tycoons with alot of old money.
"Yes, now step aside" there were lots of people lime these everytime the auction holds. They all wanted to make too much profit seeing the auction as a way to become Rich.
Upon receiving her whip back, the lady stepped aside for the next costumer. And like that it continued, with the old man appraising the items being presented and deciding which to admit into the auction and which not to.
"I’ll handle it" the appraiser smirked and pulled out a magnification equipment before placing it firmly above the Jewels.
(Wow, where did this old fool get these high quality jewellery? These must be a thousands of years old)
As the appraiser checked out the jewellery Leon presented to him, a trace of shock appeared in his eyes. These guys were worth alot.....in fact, they could very well be auctioned in the auction house if presented right.
Jewellery like these were usually large family earldoms.....
Fortunately, Leon didn’t know this. He probably just happened upon them, if not he wouldn’t be asking how much he could get from it instead of asking to auction it.
"Hmmm, they are pretty good honestly, but I’m afraid they aren’t as valuable, probably some knock off of the real thing." The old appraiser raised his head and sighed in disappointment...
But behind this expression was one filled with a cunning grin.
Leon had scared him just now with his monster, but when it came to appraiserals, he was king. He had the power now.
"Really?" Leon was taken aback for a brief few seconds. He had stolen these personally from not only thr dalriss family but also the duan royal family.
Plus, this wasn’t his first time selling from the bulk. This made zero sense.
"Yes, unfortunately things like these happen alot. But I’ll tell you want? I have a collector friend, he doesn’t really care for how real it is....it just has to be pretty, I think he can help out" the appraiser began to play the role of the good guy, but deep down he wanted nothing more than to dupe Leon of his hard work.
"I see....there’s no need then, I’ll just keep them with me" Leon shook his head and grabbed the box with his left hand in an attempt to take it back.
"No!! You can’t do that. Counterfeit products are illegal, I’m doing you a favor here old man...." The appraiser immediately placed his hand of the box and forced it shut.
Now that it was infront of him, there was no way he would let them go right? These Jewels were probably worth millions of blood orbs.
