Arit's hand trailed over his forehead and then into his hair, and when she spoke up, there was an obvious hint of shock in it.

"What's that on your forehead?"

This time, it was Mark's brow that furrowed and he quickly asked her what it was she was talking about. Mark couldn't feel anything on his forehead. His hand went up to where Arit was touching and he slowly sat up in bed. Luna was also woken up by their movement and she looked up immediately she saw Mark getting up. Was something wrong!?

Luna was immediately on guard as she thought that something was happening in the house. Maybe they were under attack! But that only lasted for a moment before she realized that Mark was going towards the mirror on the other side of the room.@@@@

Luna turned to Arit and asked her what was happening, and Arit pointed to her forehead as she also moved toward the mirror. Arit had taken one of the blankets on the bed to cover herself up, and Luna grabbed another one and held it up to her chest as she trailed towards the mirror with Arit and stood on Mark's left. Luna looked closely at Mark's reflection in the mirror and her eyes widened as she saw a permanent black mark etched into Mark's forehead like a fucking tattoo!

Since when did Mark get a tattoo!?

Luna was sure that Mark didn't have that tattoo when they went to sleep last night! In fact, he didn't have it when she went to the bathroom earlier! It just appeared out of nowhere!

Mark touched the tattoo and frowned as he saw that it was the exact same one that he had just seen on his system notification tab. It was the [Symbol of Gaia]. Did it appear after that kiss from Freya?

Mark remembered that there was a strange cooling sensation in the middle of his head after Freya kissed him in her garden. Mark knew that there was something strange about that kiss, but he didn't think it would be anything back then, so he didn't pay any attention to it.

'Why the hell would she make it so obvious?'

Mark frowned as he tried to will it away mentally, but no matter how much he tried, he wasn't able to make it vanish. There was a strange sensation on his forehead, like a million little needles pricking his skin whenever he focused on the symbol, and he had to stop after some time when the pain began to intensify into a headache.

Arit nodded when Luna asked if she remembered anything. Arit had actually met with Freya after the trial ended. After Mark and Arit were taken away from the world of Riasrio, Arit had appeared in a large empty space that was barren of anything. There was nothing but darkness all around her, and if not for the fact that she could feel solid ground under her feet, Arit would have thought she was floating in space.

Arit looked around for Mark, curious and wondering what had happened to him. She called out for him for a few seconds as she started to feel some fear creeping into her heart when she didn't get a response from anyone. The only sound she could hear was the echo of her own voice that was coming back to her.

But just when Arit was about to start giving in to her fear, she was suddenly startled when she saw a strange girl appear in front of her. It was a young girl that looked like she was no older than thirteen. She was short, and the only word Arit could have used to describe her at that moment would be

"H-H-Hello, my name is Alyga. It's a pleasure to meet you, Arit."

Arit nodded to the little girl and returned the greeting. Arit introduced herself and immediately asked:

"Where is Mark?"

The sudden voice in Arit's head made her jump a little, but she managed to get herself back as she recognized the QUEEN's voice again. Arit had totally forgotten about the crazy QUEEN in the last month because she hadn't spoken to Arit at all while they were in the trial! Arit actually thought for a moment that the QUEEN was completely gone! But it seems that it was just because Arit was in her Queen form that the QUEEN was so silent.

The little girl, Alyga, laughed when she heard what Arit asked, and she laughed even harder when Arit jumped in surprise. It was strange for Arit to see her laughing at the question, and Arit frowned as she asked her what was so funny about the question. Alyga finally calmed down after a few seconds and told Arit that Mark had asked the exact same question when he appeared in the void. Both of them were very similar.
