gunter shouted at the top of his lungs as a large wave of pure phoenix fire surged out from in front of him and flew toward mark! mark immediately blasted off the ground and moved to the side to avoid getting hit by the fire! the flames slammed into the alterworld and lit it up like the sun!

mark wasted no time as he continued moving! he was standing at a higher point on the mountain, so he used that to his advantage to easily jump over all of the anima that were still trying to get him! mark dodged another blast of phoenix fire from gunter before he had to stop as a large snake slammed into the spot in front of him!

the snake lashed out at mark with its tail, and mark brought up his hand and blocked the blow!

the blow was intense, and since mark didn't use his aegis, he was sent flying back from the impact. he had to flip over and get his feet back under him before he slid backward on the ground to stop himself! mark jumped to the side immediately as a flaming man slammed into the ground beside him, and mark brought up his hand to block a punch from gunter that would have sent him flying again!

"i told you to fucking wait your turn!"

mark shouted angrily at gunter.

gunter's face twisted into a wicked grin as he shouted back at mark!

"i'm not a patient man!"

boom! boom! boom!

three punches from gunter were expertly blocked by mark, and mark ducked under a wave of fire that flew into the distance and exploded on impact! mark flipped back and used his leg to lash out in a roundhouse kick, but gunter was able to bring up his hand and block it before sending a punch into mark's stomach!

"wait, gunter. let's come up with a plan. you're moving too fast and i can't keep up. i need to be there to guide the summons properly."

gunter growled in anger as he heard this.

'does this bastard also think i will lose to that kid? i have the upper hand and he is acting like i haven't even scratched him once!'

"if you want to fight, then try to keep up! i'm going ahead!"

gunter refused to listen to anything kevin said as he blasted off the ground and shot into the air towards where mark had fallen! kevin growled in anger once he heard what guntr said! that fool was going to make them lose this fight! kevin knew that they had more than enough strength between the two of them to handle mark, but that was only if gunter cooperated!

if gunter kept rushing in like this, then it would only end up favoring mark!

'come, we have to help him before he bites off more than he can chew. even though i hate his attitude, he is the only one that can stand toe to toe with the king right now, we have to make sure he does not die.'

kevin spoke to orochimaru through his mental link as he climbed on the snake's back, and the snake hissed in agreement as it began to slither quickly toward the fight.

mark was falling through the sky far from where the fight initially began, with a deep frown on his face. his mind was whirling through thoughts at a frightening pace as he tried to come up with a plan to handle this. mark knew that he could handle any one of his attackers if they had been alone. one-on-one, mark would not lose to any of them. gunter was a lot like hercules from the game of gods.

he was very physically gifted, but unlike hercules who didn't know how to use his mana, gunter knew how to use it very well. but that doesn't change much because mark was already much stronger than he was in that game. orochimaru and kevin weren't even much of an issue. mark would only have to get rid of orochimaru first, and then he could easily handle kevin.

but it would be impossible for mark to handle any one of them since the other two would keep interfering.

'i need to separate them somehow. but how? i need to find a weak link. something that i can exploit to get them to separate. and i think i might have something like that.'

mark looked out into the horizon as he saw a yellow light flying toward him at extreme speed! it was obviously gunter, and mark prepared himself for the impact that he knew would be coming! gunter was the one person here who seemed almost desperate to defeat him alone!

even though gunter was working with those two, mark could tell that a part of guntr did not enjoy having their fight interrupted every time. so, mark was going to give him exactly what he wanted!
