gunter did not know anything about the king if he thought he could fight against him alone and win.

"it'll be better if we both fight him and end this quickly. the gods have favored the king, so his strength is not something any one human can take on without support. i managed to bring him here where no one can come to help him, so forget your stupid pride for a moment and think about the future. once we finish him, we're going out there to take the rest of america.

gunter grunted at kevin's words and just decided not to say anything in response. gunter knew that kevin was right about them needing to preserve their energy so that they could still fight at a high level when they got out of there, but that didn't mean gunter liked it!

gunter and kevin blasted off the floor as they shot towards the distance!

mark flipped over after breaking through the volcano as he immediately brought up a hand and blocked an anima that had been racing after him since he started flying! the anima slammed into mark's hand, and mark threw it to the side and dodged around another anima that slammed into the ground behind him! more and more anima started to appear, and mark frowned as he began to tear them apart!

he caught a punch from a large anima and pulled its arm out of its body easily before jumping up and delivering a kick to it's midsection that tore its body apart! mark used the momentum of his movement to lash out with another kick that tore another anima's head off before he grabbed a third anima and used that one as a weapon, throwing it into the distance with a shout!

kevin frowned as the large anima flew towards him, and he called the snake to block it. mark immediately charged towards gunter at full speed!

boom!

mark slammed his fist into gunter's raised arm, and gunter blocked it and quickly sent a flaming punch into mark's face! mark dodged it and activated his chain as he grabbed gunter's feet to prevent him from moving! gunter looked down in shock for a moment, and mark used that distraction to send three punches into gunter's body that drove the breath straight out of him!

when the anima came from underground, mark realized not all of them possessed the strength to withstand the intense heat of the lava, and mark was going to use that to his advantage. but it seemed that kevin was also able to understand mark's intentions as he shouted at the large snake to stop him!

the snake flashed forward to intercept mark, but mark just flipped off the ground as the snake slammed into the spot he had been in, and he used the snake's body as a springboard to launch himself towards the large volcano in the distance! all the anima chased after him like ants running towards sugar, and mark roared as he pulled his hand back once he was close enough to the volcano!

the force of mark's punch tore a hole straight into the volcano and mark disappeared into it, and the volcano suddenly rumbled as mark's force managed to activate it, causing it to release all of its magma from the side and down to the anima waiting below!

the magma flowed and covered everything below it, and then it began to solidify into hard rock, trapping the weaker anima that couldn't withstand the intense heat. now, instead of a hundred anima, there were barely up to thirty anima left chasing after mark.

mark walked out from the hole in the side of the volcano with a hard look in his eyes. he was wearing a black one-piece suit that went all the way down to his ankles. mark's clothes had been completely burned by the lava, so he transformed the armor of ares into a one-piece and wore it.

since the one-piece was still covering his chest, he wasn't going against the rule that he must wear it over his chest.

'this is a more sensible number. if it's this much, then the fangs can handle most of them.'

the anima that were still alive roared in anger as they charged for mark, but mark called on the fangs and lashed out at the closest one like a snake!

snap!

the fang easily snapped the anima's neck, and the other anima around it were stunned as they didn't know what had just happened, but mark didn't stop! he continued to wrap the anima in the invisible chains, either breaking bones or outright killing them!

the sky suddenly lit up in a golden yellow glow as gunter appeared above mark, and mark turned away from the anima and faced his other enemy with a shout!
